  • lol 'beSECURE is used by the US Air Force, Microsoft ' 'adaptation of this software to a consumer' meaning … yank backdoors?

CyberGuard AU has taken the same commerical software and put a User interface into it. For example scan results are compiled into an easy understand breakdown of low priority, medium and critical. They have also developed a basic guide to fixing many of the most common vulnerabilities.

  • +9

Misleading, the vulnerability scanner is only a free trial, and it is one of your main selling point

    • Also haven't listed how much the significant discount will be once the trial ends.

  • +1

Can you please explain what has been changed in the windows install?
    "Pre-configured and Hardened Windows System"

Do you have some documentation so we can check that it meets…. our requirments?

    • +1

Including security hardening settings - Oracle VirtualBox - Network Security Scanner VirtualMachine - ZoneAlarm - Firewall & Antivirus - free version - TeamViewer host - FireFox browser

Its been hardened with all the latest and greatest free trials and bonus RAT pre-installed for your convenience!

lol, ZoneAlarm. Don't think I've seen that software for 10 years.

  • +6

So it's a Small Form Factor PC with no Windows license, and a trial for a piece of very niche security software that is unsuitable to all but a small number of targeted InfoSec workers?

  • +1

    Looks pretty much like BS…

  • 7th CPU?
    Must be old stock

  • +1

Seems like you're just paying for the box, you can get a free edition of nessus essentials which for the average joe would be overkill - https://www.tenable.com/products/nessus/nessus-essentials

  • Windows 10 PRO pre-installed (Requires License)

SO we need to folk out another hundred to get a Win10 pro lic?

  • +1

This is mini-PC with a vulnerability management software that is most certainly not useful for home or even a small office.

The in-built virus scanner only has a 30-day trial.

According to the OP's link "Pricing starts at $1,500/year and includes 24/7 phone, email and website support." and this "can be extended for a significant discount over the commercial subscription price".

If you want a cheaper option try Nessus Essential Vulnerability scanner for FREE: https://www.tenable.com/products/nessus/nessus-essentials. This is good for 16 IP addresses per scan. You can configure multiple scans if you have more than 16 IP addresses to scan.

      Great minds think alike ;)

  • Who would pay $709 for a device with 7th gen Intel cpu in 2020?

  • Sound fishy. Does this include active license of be security or just included so you can make blurb?

  • +1

Is this used with the Space Force?

  • +1

Title should read :CyberGuard AU Mini PC and 30 Day Vulnerbility Scammer

  • What hardening settings have been enabled?

How is this vulnerability scanner better than Nessus home?

Why would someone want to buy a 3 year old Mini PC

    I have alot more questions

  • If anyone was stupid enough to think this was a deal and purchase they should format the drive and clean install Win10 before doing anything.

    • where is cyberguard based?

  • Thank you for all your suggestions, I will take them back to Cyberguard AU and they will improve their offering.
