Nice first post champ ; )

Smart system, they limit quantities based on the Paypal account. Wish I had more :) Ordered two, thanks OP.

    • +4

Just choose "Pay with your credit or debit card" instead.

      • Ah! Thanks mate, worked and got myself too much. Perfect for the old man's birthday coming up. Got two extra ones. :)

      • Or open another paypal account.

  • Thanks a heap OP. Got 2 :)

Is there any expiry date for these Gift cards?

    • Nope, says so on the page.

      • +1

Yes, there is no such thing on the page. But has anyone used them in the past, if these card have a expiry date or we can use them anytime?

        • +2

there is no expiry date for Bunnings GC!

        • +5

          From the page:
Best of all it doesn’t expire, so you can use it when ever you want on the wide range of products available from Bunnings.

          From bunnings (http://www.bunnings.com.au/gifts-guide_gift-cards.aspx):
Bunnings Gift Cards come in values of $10, $20, $50 and $100. Gift Cards are not restricted by an expiry date.

        • Thanks. That is great. It was on yellow pates site also, but wanted to confirm. Seen their site too. Its really a good deal. You can buy anything from Bunnings for 50% off :)

  • very good deal, need more than 2!

  • +4

Damn site is being ozbargained. cant even get past the subscribe splash screen!

Great and now it says "The requested application was not found on this server."

    • +2

That too at 2.30 am in the morning. Damm.

      • Hey gagans, many thanks for sending me that review on the iomega drive as well, only just checked that email a/c earlier today :)

Tried to checkout twice, both times PayPal could not proceed after logging in.

Then now, I'm getting this screen:

The requested application was not found on this server.

    Don't you guys sleep? :P

    • +8

haha, apparently we don't. 2 years on OzBargain and despite logging in every two/three hours, this is probably the second time I've gotten in before something is OzBargain'ed quickly.

        • Lol, I was using the # like twitter. I didn't realise it changed the fonts into large and bold.

    • i can't load up the page now

The requested application was not found on this server.

    • nooooooooo, and i was at the final stage of paypal payment. was clicking on the continue button and then that crappy message loaded. no fair :(

    • +1

      And now getting this:

      No instance available

      • I'm getting that too now. Looks like their script coding has bombed as well..

        • +3

          yeah, we killed their instance.

      • +1

i was so close…but so far away
im up to final state after eneter all card info/address and clicked pay them bam!

        • -1

how did you get to that screen? The moment I entered my name/email (not a member yet) and clicked 'checkout', the site directed me to PayPal. No option to pay via credit card. I assume you logged in as a member first?

        • didn't log in and pay by credit card option was on the same page as paypal but there was a link on that page for credit card

  • what…its 2:32am in the morning and it's already been ozbargained? We really would die for a bargain ey?

Gotta feel for the Ozbargainer's who are actually getting some sleep right now…this deal will be done within an hour…the munted servers are their only hope!

  • +6

I saw this deal and started thinking: Right, what all do I need to do around the house?

Moral of the story: Don't think just buy

  • I think it's pulling a COTD on us.

  • +4

I would of got it if I didn't think about it for 10 mins, moral of the story just buy don't think..

    • +3

lol look what I wrote 2 posts above!

      • +4

lol. I honestly didn't see that!

        • +2

That's why I lol'd rather than give a sarcastic echo comment - thought probably a twin separated at birth.

But more likely two lunatics up at 3am chasing down bunnings bargains, of course the fried brains will think the same haha

  • +2

moral 2: dont view ozbargain on iphone, use a computer to snap it up!

  • +2

I didn't even get to see the front page. All I got was "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error".

  • glad i got in early. Damn, can't believe its ozbargained at 3am. imagine this was posted during the day

And there's 572 clicks. No wonder they got done. :)

    • +5

But when I first commented re the crash the clicks were in the low 200s. Even so, you're right I doubt they were equipped for that many hits in the timeframe.

      Down, Down, Servers are Down

Going to sleep but will probably have nightmares of the server restarting and me missing this deal..

      • I suppose they never knew this will be a big hit.

      • +2

dude, its hard enough to get those jingles out of our heads:p

  • did the server really crash? Last time the offer was better - 2x $40 for half price - and I don't recall any problems.

    • I remember their server crashing last time as well, but that was during the day when someone was around to fix it :)

  • Not working going back to sleep now.. almost 4am

  • Can you use two in one transaction?

    • +1

Yeah they're normal Bunnings vouchers, you can use as many as you want.

  • Website down?

I thought waking at 5.30am would mean not missing out on any 'overnight' offers….wrong! :-)

  • Damn missed again ste is still down??????????????????????????

    • I doubt they would have sold out already, once the site's back up they'll hopefully be for sale again.

  • Their ITt workers don't work overnight, me thinks

  • +1

The requested application was not found on this server.

  • Site's back up!

  • back up 7:40am

Very good deal - just beware - I have not received my 4 X $20 gift cards from last offer
    Lodged paypal dispute
Yellowpage offer got very bad customer service - after couple of attempt, I have been advised they will be investigaing this issue with Aust Post…

    • +1

I haven't got my vouchers either, no reply from Yellowpages Offer yet!!

      • +1

Wow - I got mine weeks ago, methinks something is wrong!

      • Give them a call and see if you can speak with a supervisor (at the first point of contact)

        Don't bother to leave a message - they won't call u back…

    • I got a response via email after couple weeks waiting, claiming that they checked with AusPost and that they were delivered, which is b.s. I have escalated to a paypal claim now.

  • Nice to be able to get this without pissfarting about from city to city. :)

They fixed the website btw. :)

  • They went very fast last time too, by the time I had told people it had sold out. Still haven't used my vouchers from last time :)

  • Yes, it's alive, it's alive! Now let's see if AusPost can deliver.

  • Gee I wish I had known about Yellow Pages Offers yesterdays

    • How do you see that info? is it listed on the webpage(Tht i can't get to?? :)

  • Server go bang. :(

  • Last time I was sent via email redemption vouchers then received the gift cards via post as well. Wonder if they both can be used. Have not try to use them at the store yet.

    • the email just serves as confirmation. you must use the gift cards to purchase the goods

    • The 'email redemption vouchers' are internal to Yellow Pages Offers and have nothing to do with Bunnings, they only accept the physical cards.

      • thx for the info. thought I was lucky!

  • Was just able to place the order !!! got confirmation email also..lets see when it comes :-))..thanks for the post OP..

  • +1

The server is not holding up Captain, OzBargainers are overloading the system.

  • "The requested application was not found on this server."

  • Made it to confirm Paypal, then failed.

  • :( "The requested application was not found on this server."

  • +1

Crap Im trying to buy todays Melbourne offer for Dizzys Castle and cant get anywhere because of this Bunnings offer!

  • i also had the same error then i went couple of pages back and tried again with paypal and it worked..so don't close the page just go back couple of pages and then try paypal again..anyways don't worry about double charge as I think they will allow only max 2 vouchers per paypal account :-))..give it a try..

  • Went up at 2am huh. The early bird catches the (very little) worm.
