Well if you take up the offer you'll still end up with someone in between your legs, close enough!
Would of preferred DP Fanatics.

Lol watching these videos can only do so much. Gotta go train at actual BJJ classes so that your muscle memory can remember and execute the moves with another human.
Well yeah, but if the gym is closed it helps to keep your mind on it at least. And with Covid-19, I'm really not sure how safe it would be for gyms to re-open because I can imagine the virus spreading like wildfire in a BJJ gym.
Yes all the Gyms are closed. And its close contact on the mats. I saw there were zoom classes for BJJ but still not real training. But its better than not keeping fit during this time.
Lol how is this even a sport? If someone tackles you to the ground, just get back up.
At least it is free.
If someone knows what there doing you're not getting back up. You'll get choked, broken arm or leg if they wanted to. You obviously have zero idea of the functionality of BJJ.
If they are bigger and stronger than me sure. But anyone that's a similar size and build would hardly overpower me enough to choke or break stuff. Pretty confident I'd be able to at least get back up to my feet in that case.
😂😂😂 Go to a BJJ/MMA and try - please report back
Unless you're a high level wrestler you'd get dominated by people smaller than you. 100% certain that you would get choked out multiple times in a minute. But feel free to try a class and let me know on the contrary.
@Cletus vandamme: I can’t. Covid19.
@idonteven: Obviously when it clears. Youd be surprised at how effective it is against another person. It's great exercise and also very mentally challenging, i recommend it to anyone who loves to test themselves against others. You think that the submissions would never work but once someone absolutely embarrasses you get humbled very quickly.
@Cletus vandamme: Our gym used to be right next door to an Anytime Fitness and we would get plenty of 'muscle bros' coming in for a free trial. They would always try to out muscle everyone always get dominated - only the humble ones would come back.
Short clip of Melbourne native Lachlan Giles taking out competitors and champions over 20kg heavier:

@mi goreng: The gym bros lack flexibility and you can only out muscle for so long until you gas then get owned. It's extremely humbling to get subbed and more so if it's someone "weaker" than you.
That's insane those guys are extremely talented and strong can't believe he pulled off those wins.
Lmao. Here's a classic video I love watching over and over again.
@Ghost47: But BJJ doesn't work right? What I love is the amount of variables that occur in every single match. There are just so much a person can do and it's amazing that new systems and subs that are still being created all the time.
Go watch UFC 1, it's on Youtube. BJJ expert wins the event against wrestlers, kickboxers etc.
BJJ doesn't work in the streets.
Most likely will work with your missus.
Really I have seen one guy choke two police into submission. And also a female submits her rapist. Want proof Gracie University shows clips and analysis on those street techniques. You will keep learning new counters and see which ones work in BJJ. Wing Chun and karate doesn't work on the streets. I know bc i did it when younger at a McDojo there's no real sparring and everything is Waterdown.
Bruce Lee even said if he had to fight a BJJ wrestler on the ground he would simply walk away. Most street fights go to the clinch and to the ground. Fancy moves are just for show but arent effective. My friend got bashed in jail doing hes fancy moves.
Noone realises the effectiveness of BJJ until they actually do it. Being owned by people smaller than you is extremely humbling. Not to mention the bigger guys that are also extremely good. It's one of the most enjoyable things for me to do.
Cheers! Wow did not expect to see this here and for free even! God I miss the gym.
Me too… makes me regret not going more often. I really do wonder how gyms will work with this virus…
Everyone after learning their first triangle
https://youtu.be/PTbhJ-zXf0I?list=RDPTbhJ-zXf0I
Everyone when they realise they'll have to actually train with a real person eventually and it may not go the way they expect…
Finally, now I can do an imanari roll.
Now listed as $47
Thanks, will end the deal.
Thought it was a free video from BJ fanatics. It's all in the grip I guess.
