  These 20L plastic petrol containers are regularly sold around $20 sometimes down around $18. Check Bunnings or Big-W first before paying out $21 here.

  just make sure the quality is decent,
  mine spills all over the place when i try to use it…
  also the caps never seal 100%

  would be prepaired to pay quite a bit more for one that pours good and seals fully.

    Then buy a metal one or a genuine Willow when on special. This is definitely not a bargain and is definitely a negative for me.

  Bought one of these, the petrol leaks from the air outlet (behind the handle) check for air tightness if u r buying. Bought in Laverton Market (Melbourne west) for $15.

  also no second air hole breather, no handle on the side… lid must seal properly(specially when pouring)

  biggest things to look out for when buying one… not something you use often, but its not something you want to spill either…

  i also bought a cheap plastic one from bunnings for cheaper.

  i'd recommend a proper metal one if you plan to hold fuel for an extended period, but for emergency use plastics ones are ok… even though they can and do leak (and allow fumes to escape if carried in the car).

  I have a willow plastic one with the second handle which assists greatly with pouring. I would never buy another one without the second handle now. Supercheap has the Willow one regularly discounted down 20% (not at present)
