(Not sure how to word this as it's from a FB page and steps aren't easy but hopefully it helps someone)

It's not working for me, but several commenters and the OP/admin there have had it work for them.

"BigW offer was 5x Woolworths Rewards points (clothing) and 5x points (toys) and 1000 points (just 1000 for total spend) if order online. Also over $45 spend for free postage.
Some idiot has already posted about their windfall on Woolworths Rewards Facebook page so this is an act now hack!
I placed a $49 order and received 49245 (1005 point per $)
Received the rewards points.
Converted to 24000 QFF points.
Placed another order just to see if it was a one off error. Spent $45 and website suggested I would earn 45225 points. It’s in pending. Placed another order for $47 and again website suggested 47235.
Advice is that if you received this offer to jump on and make a purchase.
I’m pretty certain that they’ll find a way to fix it so we don’t get the points. And will reclaim the ones they’ve already awarded. Am pretty sure they can be reversed if Qantas agree.
HOWEVER
Being a fan of taking advantage of a massive mistake by big business. I’m thinking if I switch from points to $ before the next 92460 points ($460) land and then spend it. It can’t be reversed. It can’t be recouped. Massive grocery shop or a few $100 gift cards
A sneaky family transfer as soon as the points land would also prevent them from being recouped (600k annual limit stops this being an option when I’ve got 827k points in my account).
So. If you received this offer get your ass into gear. Place an online order or even a click and collect order and take advantage."

    It can be recouped and you won't be earning Qantas points ever again. By all means take advantage of it, but be prepared to give them back. If you then make it difficult to recoup you may find you membership cancelled and depending on what the points used for, the purchases cancelled. Family transfer would also not stop them being recouped. They would reverse the transfer.

        I'd encourage you to buy physical goods you can take possession of immediately (so… say a JB giftcard and then go straight there and buy whatever you want) but I keep getting lowballed on Scumtree. Take the opportunity to upgrade your fridge (can save you a fair whack of money on electricity/food depending on what you have now) or kitchen appliances/pots/pans so you are more encouraged to cook at home to save even more coin.

                If you don't get the points you seek then just return it to a store

                  @kronicmacstigator: You can still get 1000 bonus points per transaction with any of the promotional categories (eg. $2.50 batteries would earn 1010 reward points).

    The party is still on if you buy Clothing online and choose to pick up: so you will get 1,000 points for every online order plus 5x points. This means if you buy anything less than $5 in multiple pick-up orders, they are all free for ya :)
