Browsing Amazon this morning looking for a guitar cable and found that a 3 pack is 75% off the Amazon US import price from Amazon AU. There are lots of different cables, but the best deal is a 3 pack of yellow 3 foot for $6.96, which was $28 from Amazon US. Never had a problem with Monoprice brand before, so worth a shot considering my local guitar shop wants $50 for a single cable.

Wow. Just grabbed the 5 pack of 15ft red ones for $13 and now they have jumped to $33

Grrr, was that you? I tried to do the same but the product page showed up $33 for me instead of $13 as shown on the summary page. Took the green ones for $18 instead.

I never know what to do with 3 foot cables. Too long for patch cables, too short to even dangle to the floor to plug into a DI box.

I just clicked on your link and noticed the Monoprice Glow cable, which sounds interesting.
What I found REALLY interesting is that when I selected a length of 3ft the price is $8.12. I then selected a longer length of 25ft (3ft is not enough) and the price goes to $24.62. I then selected the next length of 35ft (maybe too long, but hey!) and the price is $14.09. Not bad for a Lifetime Warranty!

    • Pricing is all over the shop. But yes lifetime warranty, not that I’ve ever had to claim on anything by Monoprice.

      35ft $29.76? Am I too late?

      • Yeah, looks like price has jumped now. 50ft is only $24

Nice deal OP. Grabbed the 5 pack of 6' cables

Thanks OP. Grabbed a 5 pack of the green 15ft. Works out roughly $3.00 a cable!

Still plenty of sizing and colour options if you select the blue 6ft ones

    Sale finished?

Shame no 15ft ones on special now. Might grab a pack of 6ft. Sure I can find a use for them.

finally snapped 15ft 5 pack white cable for $13.82. Never heard of this brand, how does it compare to planetwaves?

Thanks OP - just had the nudge last month from one of our kids about guitar cables, the shock at the price for good ones, and you post this. Legend.

I've made my own in the past using parts from Jaycar or Altronics, but that is a good deal.

Just 10 x connectors would cost as much or more than these cables…

  • Thanks OP I grabbed a 5 pack of 3ft.

  • Go wifi, never need cables again!

    • Do you have any recommendations for affordable wireless guitar systems? The Boss ones are like $400 :(

      • you can get JOYO JW-02 for $150

        • Wow, I can't believe I never thought of JOYO! I have a JOYO amp that I'm happy with, I'll look up their system. Thanks.

      • I think you just have to accept that music equipment is expensive.
I got the Yamaha THR Desktop Amp with built-in wireless. I only play at home so it's all I need. A bit pricey but it's an awesome amp. It even has a bass setting so I can play either on the one amp

  • No idea what to do with these. Bought a 5 pack.

Lots of chat about what a bargain this is,but are they any good? I'm fussy about guitar cables and don't buy them just because they're cheap…..

    • So I'm guessing you don't play a Squier Bullet?

      • Or a Casino Strat :)

        • Or what's the JB HiFi brand? Monterey?

  • Wow, just got message it's arriving today.

  • Just received mine!

    • Let us know how they go. I'm in Brisbane so wont get mine until tomorrow.

      • Hi OP, can you post us more guitar cable deals?

        • I’m not the seller. I just stumbled upon this deal when buying cables for myself. I’ve got the ones I need now, so I won’t be searching anymore, sorry.

      • Pretty happy with them so far. Just using them around the house. The big test is always live use, but I cant see that happening anytime soon lol
