Overview

In addition to regular activity, the amount your pet eats has a great effect on its wellbeing. A carefully controlled diet promotes good health and a strong immune system. The PETBLE SmartBowl precisely measures the quantity of food you give your pet, ensuring you are not feeding it too much or too little.

PETBLE SmartBowl - The pet bowl reinvented
PETBLE SmartBowl is not a usual pet bowl. In addition to having an integrated electronic scale, it can recognize individual pets by their PETBLE SmartTags. This enables the SmartBowl to know how much each pet eats, even if more than one pet feeds from the same SmartBowl. The SmartBowl works with the PETBLE App to offer tailored exercise and diet advice for your pet.

    with in-Built Scale $39

It'll cost around $80 for your dentist to remove it.

    • Been drinking that iso brew?

    • And hundreds for a vet to remove it off a dog or cat.

Does this work with Google Assistant ?

@skido: why does that concern you?

            • @jv: Maybe he thinks you are a cyborg? Odd..

I would've just kept this thread empty and watch JV populate it himself. Was doing a good job with the first 3 posts….

          JV's entitled to ask questions.

He eats three square meals out of one of these, each day…

      • Can look like literally anybody, a keyboard warrior isn't a specific race/age etc.

    Thanks Mr Askhole

If you want one for the sole purpose of a scale (and too lazy to use a kitchen scale) which also displayed measurement on the bowl without having to rely on an app each time you are weighing the food, the below might be a better option and slightly cheaper

We got a bowl with built in scales from Kmart for $9 on clearance last year. They dropped to $5 at one stage but I don't know if they still sell them

  • Is this okay for outdoor use? My dogs will probably push it around by accident and pee on it sometimes…

Looks like it would lead to a funny hair cut.

    • Not true! Kim Jong-un swears by it.

Ordered so can monitor if our greedy dog eats our other dogs food, the sensor tags sold the deal for me.

  • Hmm, anyone have any ideas for feeding two cats wet food on a daily basis? You'd think they were labradors, how quickly they demolish their meals..
Can't always be there for the so something similarly automated would be great. .

    • Kmart sells an automatic pet feeder but no in-built scale (https://www.kmart.com.au/product/electronic-pet-feeder/28883…). Can't say anything about quality since I haven't purchased it.

    • How often do your cats eat? Mine eats before 8am and at 6:30pm

      • Currently feed them twice a day, at 7am and 9pm. But they're both greedy assholes who would steal each other's food, so I have to feed them in separate rooms. Would love a solution to that.

  • Definitely pointless for my dogs that get precisely two scoops of food and it's gone within minutes.

    • Would you like it if you got the exact same meal everyday?

      • +2

They get wet food too and fresh meat every so often. Regardless my point is more that I don't see the need to weigh food for larger dogs when I can scoop/spoon food as an approximate measure and it's all eaten immediately after serving so the timing feature is not useful either. I'll stick to the steel food bowls.

      • If only.
