    Meh,

It works out to be $2.32 per package, which is about the same price as a good special at the supermarkets. The problem is that these Malaysian Pringles are not as good as the American ones with the much smaller cylinder size.

Unfortunately when they went Malaysian, the did not bring the savings, so I'd suggest people get the other brands instead of Pringles.

New ones are garbage no where near as nice!

The bigger problem with the Malaysian ones is they don't taste as good (the sour cream and onion ones especially 😭)

I've stopped buying Pringles altogether after they switched factories. I think the American ones taste much better.
What's amusing is that in Malaysia you can buy the Malaysian, American, and Belgian-made ones. There's clearly a market for non-Malaysian Pringles in Malaysia. :)

with the much smaller cylinder size.

It's actually the Malaysian ones that have the smaller cylinder size.

    • what's the alternative? probably too pricey to get american pringles down here?

Previously was $2/tube from Amazon and usually $2 from Coles/Woolworst on 1/2 sale. But good for those who don't wanna go out and eat heaps of Pringles in one hit.

    This is not a bargain.

  • I've stopped buying ever since they started importing the Malaysian made ones. (Bought one by accident, because I didn't know, tasted 'off', had to check the can.)

There was a big fuss on their facebook page back in the day. But they didn't bother listening.

They claimed it was to serve the Australian market better etc. Was a bunch of b.s.

It's been awhile since I ate any, but the Malaysian made Pringles tasted almost exactly like the Mr Potato brand.

I am pretty certain they come out of the same factory, and just rebranded the Mr Potato ones.
