Save offer to your eligible Card, donate $60 or more, in one or more transactions, online only at www.redcross.org.au by 30/06/2020 to get 1,500 Membership Rewards Bonus Points. Limited to first 4,500 Cards to save offer. Exclusions apply.

Excludes purchases of raffle tickets.
Offer is limited to 1,500 Membership Rewards Bonus Points per Card to which the offer is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the Offer.
Excludes transactions where you do not pay for your donation directly with your Card to which the offer is saved, at Red Cross Online at www.redcross.org.au. Offer valid at Australian website only.
Excludes transactions made through a third party establishment or payment processor.
You must be enrolled in the relevant loyalty program and have an active loyalty account to receive the points.

  • For reference, that 1500 mr is about $7.5 if the points are used to pay for transactions directly.

    • Or $15 with Amex platinum

    • Don't forget the value of the Tax Deduction too.

    • The article posted above says only 10% goes to administrative costs? I only skimmed it but I also thought it said it takes 6 days from application to $10k grant. It sounded like they want to get the funds to those in need I thought, and not waste the funds.

        15% spent on admin costs ($37 million) as per their 2018-2019 report. $4m on marketing, $18m on emergency appeals and $24m on redcross shops. There are other expenses too.
