They're $179 prepaid at Vodafone. Terrible, terrible phone though.
Yer and unlockin @ Voda is FREE…
Horrible phone. save your money……
Dick Smith have them for $149 (http://dicksmith.com.au/product/EM5005/nokia-n97-mini-prepai…), Vodafone stock and as scan06disk states, it is free to unlock.
Agreed.
cheaper at DS
Crap price for a crap phone.
q. Why is it crap?
Resistive Touch eeeekkk, Symbian YUUUUUUUCCCCKKKKKKKK!!!
not worth it
I've had this phone and god it was awful.
Didn't install any custom software, yet it constantly had 'insufficient memory' popups even though I wasn't doing anything. The screen was slow and non-responsive most of the time.
Fortunately I managed to sell this atrocity on eBay for about $180-BS fees.
At that price, I would recommend people invest their money in a $200 brick instead(encrusted with diamonds?). It does pretty much the same thing and it lets you attack muggers.
same here mate! I got so fed up and ended up complaining against VodaFail!
What happened as a result of your complaint if you don't mind me asking?
And did you do it through email or over the phone?
$100 maybe… but even then i would probably still take the inq cloud
EXPENSIVE
Hey Rep, HN already reduced the N9 16GB to $698 including bonus NFC headsets, are you going to update the price?
Any deal for N900?
overpriced much?
There was a software update (30.0.004) released for it by Nokia recently, which seems to have patched up quite a few of annoying little bugs and quirks, as well as the random memory errors the phone had a tendency to haunt one with.
The N97 Mini is a bit of a dinosaur now, compared to the functionality that you get with similiary priced Android alternatives. The only things I can honestly praise this phone for are the awesome camera (I have never seen a better quality mobile camera at this price) and the free "Ovi Maps" GPS navigation provided by Nokia which is generally very reliable.
$225 is too much. $149 from Dick Smith is a far more reasonable price, though only if your main considerations with purchasing a new phone on a budget are for camera quality and GPS…
That's my two cents anyway since I had nothing better to do :P
Better camera than most cheap Android devices and the Ovi Maps are two great points going for this phone. But for me the biggest selling point is the qwerty keyboard, I just can't stand the virtual keyboards. Still, even $149 is a bit much for what is essentially an obsolete system nowadays.
The N97 mini is old school now… lol
But then again save yourself a bit more here:
