    Apparently highly rated by PCMag

      Is PCMag highly rated though?

As one of the few left standing, clearly!

      • +4

Well, then try another authority figure: Hillary preferred BleachBit to wipe her email servers ;-)

        • what did Bill use?

        • +1

          Trump probably just uses bleach.

  • Can this be installed on multiple devices using the same account?

    • +3

Kind of, you need to release the license before you can activate a new device: https://kb.paragon-software.com/article/353

      • If you don't allow it access to the internet how will it register to a device?

I have HDM17 Advanced and it's not shown registered to any device in my account.

Keep in Mind this is 2012 product .. as far as I know..

      Installed…
This is Paragon Hard Disk Manager 25 Anniversary LE
      Version 17.10.2 ©1994-2019

      • So, does "LE" = "Limited Edition" or what?

    • +1

The functions of this software won't have changed that much since 2012.

This article states that Windows has had GPT read/write support since Windows Server 2003 SP1 (2005) and Windows Vista (2006), and full boot support since Windows 8 (late 2012), so I'm pretty sure it will work just fine with even the latest drives.

    Brilliant! Cheers OP!

  • Used this some time ago to make a bunch of disk images and arrange disk partitions.
Worked really well, good stable software. No idea what the current version is like.

    This vs macrium for backups?

    • +1

      Macrium of course.

  • so i got the email with serial number and separately, this email after registering:

[email protected] has been successfully registered.
Please activate your account within 24 hours and set a password by using the following link.

i don't need to activate, right?

  • I used their Mac product a lot about 10 years ago, to manage a couple of different partitions on my Macbook. Super easy to use, worked well. Couldn't tell you what it's like today though.

  • I got this product from the last deal. It's super good. I used it to partition the hard disks to have more spaces on my games drive. It's working super cool, a quite long, but because it backs up, do things (restart and in command mode which is safer) and try to verify if the windows is still working fine and verify other things.

  • does this key works on MacOS? as Mac version is on not offered for FREE.

    • +1

Sorry to hear that. Try windows next time (and Andriod)

If you get a seagate USB backup hub for Mac it'll come with a lite version that has NTFS and/or ExtFS tools, IIRC.

      • thanks for this 🙂

  • Isn't this always free for home use now, where is the deal?

  • Had an issue with my hard drive changed to Dynamic partition, installed this but it doesn't have the function to change it to basic had to install triall version of EaseUs

  • Does it have to be installed before a certain date in order for the license to get activated?

  • +1

    No email received.

What is the difference with the Mini Partition Tools free?

  • +3

Just tried to use it to backup my 2TB HDD. It quickly figured out that I only have 20GB actual data on it and only backed up that much, and the system files are backed up without me having to do a reboot cycle (Windows 7) to acquire the read lock. The UI is extremely easy to use and it can send you email if scheduled backup failed. It's flawless.

Personally I have found Paragon software very slow and clunky.

EaseUS software is much better and offers free versions of Partition Manager, Back Up, PC Transfer and Data Recovery (up to 2GB) - you dont need a license key for these so can be used on any PC.

Thanks to OP. Downloaded, good features, even allow connection to hypervisors.

However, missing copy partition option that comes with paid macOS version.

  • This is still working as of today, if anyone is still interested in this software :)

  • For 'Disk Wiper' Instead use 'Darik's Boot and Nuke' (DBAN) to wipe drives. https://dban.org/
