cool will go there on friday. wollies sells the strawberries that are old and have mould growing on them :s
Ewww Woolies fruit.
and have mould growing on them
mmmm… probiotics !!!!
you do know that Woolworths owns Thomas Dux
Woolworths owns Thomas Dux
Owned is a slang word[1][2] that originated among 1990s hackers, where it referred to "rooting"
You do realise that he means the parent company of Thomas Dux is Woolworths…
jv:
I said owns not owned.
you need to get a life
Jv, I believe you just got OWNED - Now thats how you use it.
they are so far away~~ dammit cant even go out to check it out!
mmmm, sweet pesticide goodness ..
woolies $2 for 250gm now. very fresh unlike some market.
very fresh
now way, i saw them in my local Woolies yesterday, they looked soooooo foul….
oh, sorry, forget to include. the one i saw is at QV, Melbourne.
i buy my fruit & vegies from the market when I can, as they don't freeze or do things to it
They're $2.95 each and not 3 for $3 at Thomas Dux in Port Melbourne.
The fruit and vegetables shop@knox shopping centre also same price ($0.99/ 250gr) and $1.99/ 500gr.
Aldi also had strawberries $0.99 for 250gr last week
yeah, but the quality is not really good anymore, i went to aldi north strathfield last week they got that price too.
woolworth will have $1.5 start from 21-27 sept 2011.
last week on flemington market, i bought 15 punnet for $10, actually some seller sells for $8/box (15 punnet) but quality wasn't the best
Nothing wrong with this deal, but I've given up on buying strawberries anywhere away the farm. Most Australian strawberries you find on sale are poor plastic imitations of what strawberries should be. The smell might be there, but not the taste and texture.
yeah I am going to grow my own now, sick of buying them and they turn out to lack flavour and have mould or bruising on them.
I think that the OP means PUNNETS of strawberries, not boxes :-).
any links to the deal ??? is it all stores or just one ???
