wow… even at half price, that's expensive fly spray…

      • neither have i. I have got this before from coles for $17. Where are they getting the $29.99 from?

  • This works without a facebook account.

  • haha damn beat my post by about 10 secs!

    • true, liked your direct linking to the voucher though as FB is not required.

A device that regularly releases insecticide into the home ensuring that we perpetually live, and breathe, in a cocktail of hazardous and unwanted chemicals? Er, pass.

    Whatever happened to flyscreens?

I was going to post the same comment. This includes air refreshener, it just masked the odour but you are now breathing more bad odour as it is now smelling nice and fresh + the freshener chemical.

My favourite are those new Glade advertisements with the well-to-do swishing-hair girlfriends admiring the latest upmarket addition to the range. Because, of course, nothing says style and elegance like a plug-in air freshener.

And made by the good people at Fisk Johnson (who also brought us Raid, Windex and Draino), you just know they're chock-full of chemically goodness.

Not to mention that indirectly spraying doesnt do a darn thing.

You're not killing any bugs, but you constantly have to buy refills.

The only question here is whether they get an award for having a great marketing department or worst product ever..

      • Not to mention that indirectly spraying doesnt do a darn thing.

        Yes it does.

If i have a fly which will not stop flying around then spraying fly spray into the middle of the room will still kill the fly.

I love how a Nuclear weapon won't kill cockroaches but bug spray will…yet we spray the stuff in our own homes. What is in these cans???

      • Poison…not radioactive materials…LOL

    • A device that regularly releases insecticide into the home ensuring that we perpetually live, and breathe, in a cocktail of hazardous and unwanted chemicals?

They make a refill which contains natural ingredients.

The United States Department of Agriculture has stated that synergized pyrethrum " is probably the safest of all insecticides for use in food plants " and that " a pyrethrum formulation is approved for use around foodstuffs."

      • safest does not equal to safe.

These really work. I got them last year and we didn't have a single live cockroach or fly all summer.

    • +1

Agreed. We have done every possible ways to prevent nasty cockroaches.
Leave no food and water sources around. Fumigation in a can. You name it.
This is the only way that seems to work for us.

  • Saw these marked down to $20 in coles today as they are clearing this stuff out to make way for xmas. Have to wait a week untill you can use the voucher but for $10 I think its pretty good value.

  • The voucher states:
Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Can it still be used for the already marked down price?

  • Yes you can, i bought one tonight and got it for $7.50, went through self serve and had no problems!
