Do I need to be worried about the motherboard?
You can take a chance and put it together outside of a case to see if it boots with the CPU.. if not then AMD has a service were they post you out a CPU to update the bios with that you then post back FREE of charge.

My Ryzen 3600 just came in today ..got my B450 Tomahawk MAX form Mwave $210 yesterday just waiting on my Corsair iCUE 220T RGB Case from Scorpion tech.. its delayed by 4 days now :( The one item that was from out of state NOOOO why did i do that.
