Free 3 Month Trial of Avira Prime (No Credit Card Required) @ Avira

41

Avira Prime Free 3 Month Trial.

No Credit Card Required (License Ends Automatically).

This is the full set of internet apps (including VPN) by Avira, an Austrian company.

All you need is an email address. So I imagine it may be possible to "extend" the Prime subscription by using a different email address.

It compares very well against other antivirus products such as Kaspersky, Bit Defender, Norton by Symantec, AVG, Avast, etc:

Android antivirus app comparison by AV Test (January):

Windows 10 antivirus program comparisons by AV Test (February):
https://www.av-test.org/en/antivirus/home-windows/windows-10…

Windows 10 antivirus program comparisons by AV-Comparatives (March):
https://www.av-comparatives.org/tests/real-world-protection-…

In the AV Comparatives results you can see Avira blocked all malware, with zero false positives, unlike some of the other well known antivirus products.

I have been using Avira products for over a decade (from back in the day when DOS versions of Avira were available), and their antivirus products have tended to be at, or near the top, of reputable antivirus comparison sites, and consistently over time.

But I can't comment on Avira VPN or their other apps/programs because I never used them, and I have never really compared them against similar products from their competitors.

As for the paid product - Avira tends to be priced considerably lower than it's competitor's products.

AVIRA FREE works just fine and 3 months is nothing.
Usually trials run for at least 6 months.
    Sorry OP but DUD DEAL

  • Corporate hosts are a different matter but for personal PCs, Microsoft Defender should be just fine and it is perpetually free.

  • Installed then discovered this doesn't work for torrents (no p2p support) which makes it basically useless for me :(
