wow, 4k per couple, bargain! if only i had money… well, i wouldnt be here… doubt this deal will have a huge audience on ozbargains, will be interested to see if this gets many +'s

  • Great deals on the cruises. Too bad it's 2011 cruises. However, anyone knows which cruise ships are the better ones? I heard some ships are too old or too boring for longer cruise.

P & O = scum. You get what you pay for

Celebrity, Princess and Royal Carribian are all tops!

      • We find that Princess are usually cheaper than P&O even though much better. Agree with your comment about P&O Aust though… more for the party animal.
Past customer discounts & bonuses are great with Princess.
This deal is great value for a balcony cabin on a very classy ship.

I have found that an interesting resource is www.cruisecritic.com. You just search their database for the ship name, and you get cruise reviews by passengers.

Also an Australian based one is ozcruiseclub.com.au .I use both great info and tips has saved me thousands only 44 days until my next cruise to NZ

  • Princess has a special to NZ for "past customers" Syd - NZ + return to Syd, 13 nts @ $998 pp + standard onboard credit. It's for an inside cabin but you have a lot of ports of call to tire you out so is ok.
Deal is for a couple of trips in Oct11 on Sea Princess and maybe Dawn Princess ??. See their site for details.
First timers can get it for $1099 which is still a good deal..

  • aren't long cruises just plain boring?

    • +1

Definition of "long" could be relative. 5 days is long for me but short for some people. That's y nice and big ship is needed ;)
