      looks like they have updated their website since I’ve last visited. Unfortunately a lot of their cakes are phone orders. Only the popular ones you can order online still.

          yeah possibly or they freeze them now which dries them out

          but yeah its ok as every now and then but used to be way better back in the day when stuff was made closer to sale date

      I have tried a lot of their cakes and I don't like any of them (usually the de facto office cake). But lots of people do like them. There's better (and cheaper) options around where I live, there used to be a cheesecake shop here but it closed down.

      Fergusson Plaire have very dense mud cakes, then Woolworths also have a slightly less dense but equally good mud cake.

      Last time when this $10 deal was on their website crashed and my order didn’t go through properly but I was charged. The drama they gave me getting my money back. 10 phone calls/ emails back and forward being directed to customer service then back to the owner. The owner was hoping I just give up so he can keep my $40. Wouldn’t transfer my money back but told me to come in when he is in and he was never there! Got my money back after 6 weeks.

          They take time to complete as well and no guarantee you get your money back.
          If their system is crap and they have charged you for something they haven’t fulfilled, you would assume they would refund you.

            @Jumpup: You would think that after a few phone calls you would already start a chargebacks. Chargebacks don't take a long time to complete. Your bank should start an investigation within a couple days.

              @askbargain: The phone calls were mind games.
              1) First being told they never got my order and the charge on the statement would disappear as it’s just a pre authorization (wasn’t true)
              2) after few days told them the charge is still there and referee me to customer service
              3) customer service never picked up after days of calling
              4) customer service finally got back to me and told me to contact the owner he should return my money
              5) call to the store said owner not in go try call back tomorrow
              6) called again said owner would call me back in the morning
              7) no call so called again and was told the owner would text me
              8) finally heard from the owner telling me I can’t have my money back but can give me a cake. Told him that birthday has passed now we don’t need a cake. He tried to refer me back to customer service to get my money back.
              9) called customer service told me to speak to owner about refunding me
              10) owner told me to come in to get money back and he wasn’t there and staff said only owner can return money, so I waited for a couple of hours until he got back.

              Seriously WTH!!!

      Looks like D'Cheesecake Paradise do the original and many of the other discontinued lines from the Cheesecake Shop. They've even ripped off the old mascot. It's a shame they're only in Liverpool NSW!

    My nearest store had four options for part cake and they're all $44.95. So with this deal it'll be $34.95 pickup? Since I'm not allowed to have a party, I still think that's expensive for a cake to just "eat". Besides no gym doesn't really help either…

    I got one of the birthday mudcake drip cakes from woolies today. Looked promising, but was pretty shit. Sickly sweet.

    Wished I knew about this deal, because now I have the wife telling we should have just gone to the cheesecake shop.

      Just placed an order and it worked fine, just abit slow. So try again at an off-peak time. Their server is obviously crappy and can’t handle any bit of traffic.
