$5 off Eligible Items (Min Spend $75) via eBay App @ eBay

700
PASTA5

This is obviously not the best eBay deal ever, but if it helps at least one person save $5, I think it's worth posting.

Full T&Cs are on eBay website, but here are the key bits:

  • This offer commences at 10:00 (AEST) on 7 April 2020 and is available until 23:59 (AEST) on 22 June 2020 (“Offer Period”). eBay reserves the right to cancel the offer at any time.
  • The offer entitles you to $5 off the purchase price (excluding postage costs) on all "eligible items" listed on the ‘eBay App’ when you spend $75 or more. A maximum of 2 transaction applies. Multiple items may be purchased in one transaction (up to a maximum of 10 items per transaction). All monetary amounts specified in these terms and conditions are in Australian dollars (AUD).
  • 'eBay App' means purchases made via the eBay app on iOS (iPhone and iPad) or Android.
  • 'Eligible Items' means all items listed on eBay.com.au where these terms and conditions are found, and the coupon redemption code PASTA5 is displayed in the item listing.

not complaining the post, but i hate seeing 5$ off when i'm trying to buy an ipad

    • Plot twist. Eligible items must be under $75.

No need to worry, eBay has it covered.

    • Maybe you need to buy an iPasta then :)

And I hate seeing the $ symbol after the digit
Edit: oops, replied to wrong person

BTW OP I agree with 'at least one person save $5' so I appreciate the deal, just laughing at eBay's stinginess

EBay can stick their eligible items as far up their ineligible item as it will fit

Well done OP. This is the right mindset in my view.

I personally believe it should help at least 10.

5 packs of pasta is more attactive deal. eBay is so pethetic now.

  • Welcome to the future where the two big boys can't beat the source of the specials with a gift card . Looks like decent triple stacking is an event of the past .

    go back to sleep eBay

  • If they're gonna keep pulling this eligible items crap with pathetic discounts (on stuff that is often jacked up anyway) they should at least have a reliable link to a search page that has all eligible items clearly listed. Not this wild goose chase BS

I found something to buy at Bing Lee. Showed the PASTA5 discount. But when I went to buy, it gave a message: can't buy this through the eBay app. Only thru the eBay website.

And on the eBay website the $5 voucher does not apply!

  • Excludes: Items people might actually want to buy.

Thanks OP. I bought some new RAM for a very old mac mini. $76 down to $71… So it's only $5, but I'll take it!

      Done!

      • And he didn’t even upvote

          Oops! Done!

  • They did it better this time because previous you could only use iphone to get the deal only. Lol

  • Generic eBay "Eligible Item" posts should be moved to the forums because they aren't providing much value.

If I'm looking for an item, eBay will show that it's eligible for the $5 discount without the need for the post. eBay's marketing team have a really efficient model - maximum exposure on Ozbargain (still on the front page) for minimal cost by restricting eligible items.

They've learned from the past where 20% site-wide sales would cost them a lot while giving marginally more exposure.

There might be some good deals with the $5 discount but those should be posted as individual items.
