"Usenet: You connect to fast, specialised, dedicated servers that are designed and optimised for downloading large files. Such servers are always available, 24 hours a day."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usenet. I can't really say anymore..
==The First Rule of Usenet is we don't talk about usenet==
is Rod Speed still online? and 'michaelj'unofficial Telstra spokesman/apologist?
someone ^ is really showing their age. but because u asked. https://alt.fan.rod-speed.narkive.com/
I remember reading somewhere that Rod Speed was actually a bot. Given the quality of his responses, it wouldn't surprise me.
how many hours of porn will that cover?
more than your hand could possibly handle. Better ways to find prawns. PrawnHub is offering free premium at the moment, and vs usenet, you never watch a full prawn, so streaming is more efficient…
I often wonder why they make movies to be longer than about 10 mins as I bet most don't get past that point.
If i make it past page 5 on prawnhub, then I know I'm getting too fussy
Just a shout-out on my experience with this mob.
I use Newsleecher v3.9 Beta5, which is very old, but I prefer it over the newer free v7.0 final.
Both of these, though, refuse to connect with a secure connection. Support tells me it's because they have disabled an old version of the protocol, but I have no problems connecting with the half dozen other providers I have used in the last 6 months.
Funnily enough, it works in NZBGet, but has a high failure rate on most NZB's I download from Drunken Slug, some as high as 75%, but usually down around the 25% if there's errors to be found.
I won't be going back to these guys.
I listed it because of the deal itself, rather than a recommendation on their services. Their sign up process is very nosy vs others with what they want to know. Someone called them out over it on reddit.
I have no issues with you posting the deal.
Even dodgy companies can have a deal worth posting. I was just giving my personal experience.
Are they file server?
