[VIC] $10 Jumbo Noodles & Rice Dishes (Excludes Seafood & King / Queen Size Noodles) @ Dodee Paidang Thai Restaurant (Melbourne)

920

Hi Guys, we are just one of the many businesses struggling right now.
To support those who are tightening their belts and obviously us. We have reduced our jumbo noodles to $10 this excludes the seafood noodles and the king and queen size noodles. This also includes our rice dishes in our lunch menu.
We are also giving a free soft drink with every meal while the post mix lasts.

Order in advance by calling us on 03-96024968.

Thanks Melbourne every little bit counts.

From the team at Dodee Paidang.

Have very much enjoyed dining in when we're in the city, but its a little far to go for take away.
    Good luck though.

      Same. Good luck

Thanks so much for that. We will be on every delivery platform soon. Currently just on GIFFI and Deliveroo.

Will keep you posted when we are.

      Thanks again.

      • can't find you on deliveroo - would be very interested in $10 + delivery fee Jumbo noodles

        • Sorry mate we might be too far from your place. Hopefully Uber gets up and running soon. Their delivery distances should be further.

Sorry we can't offer the deal on deliveroo and their commissions would kill this deal.

Will the soup be separated from the noodle?

    • Hi yes the soup will be seperated. If you choose the cook the noodles they taste even better instead of having them pre cooked.

      Much appreciated.

      Thanks
      Boon

No offer for Sydney, OP? :)

    • Hi ippy,
Unfortunately we are owned differently from the owners in Sydney.

I hope they do something soon.

      Much appreciated.

great! will definitely go pick up as I live only 100m from doodee! previous never able to get in when craving for thai food!

I love the spicy Tom Yum noodles here. If you haven't tried these before, just be conservative with what spice level you are ordering. I normally order Thai Hot in other restaurants but the Level 5 noodle killed me!

  • Hi, whats in your jumbo noodles?

    • Jumbo referring to the size of the noodle bowl, they have around 20 noodle soup bowl dishes. Their website has the list under Menu > 'Noodle' with the listed price being Medium size.

  • I never had takeaway from you guys, do you allow customers to bring their own takeaway container? I am a lazy bum who doesn't like taking out my recycling bin :P

Kidding! Kinda. I do Zero Waste takeaways using 1L Decor Glass containers https://www.decor.com.au/product/match-ups-glass-storer-1-0l… (glass container so you can tell easier if it's not clean) because I prefer washing dishes than taking out the trash.

      Hi,
I would love to say yes but I heard coffee shops arent even allowing reusable cups because of the virus.I might have to say no.

      Really sorry.

      Thanks

    • Not good to reuse at this time. They'd have to sterilise your container.

I used to work close by and loved visiting this restaurant; they had great meals and a decent portion.
I wish you the best in these times of hardship and hope the take away method strives.

Thank you. It's comments like your that keeps us going. We are trying to keep open to pay what staff we are left with now. And its always been my motto and inspiration to bring affordable authentic Thai food to Melbourne.

Thanks again I wish everyone well during this tough time.

Can vouch this place is good, so sad we didn't visit more often before! My friend had the level 7 spicy noodles and nearly died, but can't wait to return for level 6! XD

Thanks so much I will chase up with our delivery partners hopefully one of them can possibly deliver to you.

      Much appreciated once again.

Hope you guys survive this painful stretch.
Be there tomorrow for a takeaway, and probably days after too.

Thank so so much. I am grateful beyond words.

  • Getting my pad thai fix soon! All the best :)

p.s.: try getting on DoorDash, its a relatively new food delivery app in Aussie but is one of the bigger players in the US market. They're currently offering 0 commission and free delivery among other discounts. Not 100% sure how it works, I just received it as a newsletter - it stated "Independent restaurants can now sign up with DoorDash for free and pay zero commissions for 30 days. ". Hopefully this works out for you guys!

    • Thanks so much we are trying to get our menu up on it. Unfortunately no one is commission free now. They are all taking advantage of all of the restaurants trying to jump on the platforms.

  • Does this mean that Pad Thai is $10?

    • Sorry no it's just our rice lunch specials and the jumbo noodles excluding seafood items.

If only I was still working in the CBD. Literally across the road from you guys and always have had a pleasurable meal. I've sent this to my friends who live in the CBD. Wish you the best of luck and hopefully catch you on the other side for some more awesome Thai food!

    • Thanks so much it's been such a tough few weeks. But it's comments like yours that really give us the energy to get through this. Thanks so much
