  That would have to be some freaking fine fare for $49. Does it come with a happy ending??

    no, not really… It's apparently normally $46 for two people incl St. Ali coffee…
    This deal is $19 for TWO people… $9.50 each incl coffee…

    Here are the menu prices…

    Free range eggs served any way, on toast with homemade tomato relish 9.50
    Istra Daylesford smoked bacon 3.50
    Roast tomato 3.50
    Spiced mushrooms 3.50

    i guess that makes coffee there $3 ?

    South Yarra isn't cheap, these prices are pretty typical for these places…

    anyway $9.50 per person for a good coffee and decent breakfast seems a good deal to me…

    $50 for 2 is standard for decent breakfast places.

    with no disrespect intended (i can enjoy a cheap and cheerful breakfast as much as the next man), you can't really compare an $8.50 breakfast at a local cafe to more "gourmet" breakfasts at these sort of trendy cafes.

    ie. Three Bags Full, Demitri's Feast, Duchess of Spotswood, Pope Joan, Auction Rooms, Liar Liar, Friends of Mine, Coin Laundry, etc.

    FYI: for what it's worth, i wouldn't include outpost in the company of the above. i don't really rate it, nor any of the St Ali places (although, Outpost is no longer part of the st ali group, and i have never been to St Ali itself).

    but for $19, it's a bargain!

        12/18 Yarra Pl, South Melbourne (just off Clarendon Street).

        my friend is always raving about it, so i'm keen to check it out…South Melbourne is just a hassle for me to get to!

  Yeah I'm with you for quality, and my local is really great - decent breads, coffee, actual free range eggs etc. Just happens to be great value in the Ozbargain style.

  Still think their standard $49 is ridiculous….but then again I am a natural born tightarse.

  Is it just me, a bit concerned there is no phone number for the company (gametime, rather than the deal provider), nor even email address! Just a web form, which they could easily ignore if you have trouble with the deal?

  FAQ is empty too. Seems website is put together in a few minutes…
