(RRP $142)
I love the "Eau d'Issey". The "Intense" version is a bit over the top in my opinion, but at $40 it's a great price.
Not the first time this deal has been posted, but I thought some of us might have missed out last time.

$1 cheaper if you select from a different seller, but still fulfilled by Amazon.

And cheers for the heads up, I'll buy it from there.
Weird how it's classified under women's fragrance but it's clearly a men's one.
Thanks mate
Eau de toilette in case you couldn't get any papier du toilette.
Issey Dissey is great but this stuff, not so much.
This smells totally different, very incense like. Its a decent cooler weather scent but not one of my favourites.
Agreed. I’m a big fan of the original but this variant was a disappointment
I just impulse bought issey dissey for $45 (75ml) because I think I recall liking it …😂
If I don't like it, I'm blaming you! Lol j/k
Agree. Eau d'Issey is pretty much my favourite - and it is subtle. This is a bit sledgehammer up front. It fades fast - in this case, that might not be a bad thing.
I own it - at this sort of price - but unlike Eau d'Issey, I wont be tempted into a repeat purchase.
I bought it from last deal, 95% of it left. Don’t like it at all
For Home de toilet papper.
Better hurry before stocks is hoarded
Eau de Toilette
As a kid I thought this was Toilet spray so after a poop I'd sneak into me parents drawer and spray half a tiny bottle into the loo
Doesn't it actually translate as "water from the toilet"?
A Toilette meant an outfit in old French.
That's where it comes from
@Nuclearvodka: Wow, thanks. I've always thought the use of the word toilet to be odd.
@CacheHunter: 12 year old me: "Odour toilet" 😂
you can probably say that too,
sperm whale poop/vomit (ambergris) is one of the stuff they use to make the perfumes last longer
https://www.nationalgeographic.com/news/2012/9/120830-amberg…
WTF? This is a classic scent.Christ you people are fussy….
Ummm. No. Eau d'Issey is the classic.
This is a brand extension exercise which I think has been poorly executed.
I blame Scotty from Marketing…
Gotta love smelling like a trendy 16 year old
CW EDT seem dodgy at best. They smell real, but dont stay put.
Me thinks its watered down from the real deal.
Buy one from customs and you notice the difference immediately.
they're probably real but long expired
I agree, I used to buy perfumes from Duty free stores 20 years ago and then i heard about all these local stores / online stores doing much better pricing so i switched to them for the last 15 years or so, always felt they dont last as long but i thought its in my head. Then recently I decided to open up some of the last of the perfumes i had bought in Duty free from UK Heathrow airport (I had literally bought these at least 15 years ago but never opened), I have been using one of them for the past 3 weeks and it blew my mind how much stronger it was than the same ones i have been buying from chemist warehouse, COTD and some of the online stores. It definitely lasts longer too.
@lonewolf : You'll find that many frags 8 years+ old are nothing like their current offerings due to reformulation mandated by law, health or whatever reason that caused houses to "remix" their juices
OH really? wouldnt that also change the scent of the product then? It might annoy people if they bought a product and the scent was different. In my experience the scent was not only fresher / stronger / smelt better. But it also lasted a lot longer during the day than the newer products i bought online. And this was so much older that it should have degraded by then i would have assumed. I still think there is something definitely weird about the products i have purchased online compared to Duty free. Wish there was a way of knowing.
@lonewolf: Yup. Review sites like Basenotes & Fragrantica, even Youtubers often comment of the difference depending on the batch or 'era' of the bottle.
Many perfume houses have a batch code number on bottom which can be decrypted to reveal year of production.
Logically, you would think that an EDP 'should' smell the same as its EDT version but be longer lasting. More often than not though, the 2 can smell noticeably different to each other.
You can check the date of manufacturing online. Someone posted the site. I checked all the ones I bought from CW. All recently manufactured. Seem legit to me.
Spot on - you can check the batch dates here - http://www.checkfresh.com/how-to-find-batch-number.html
I bought ralph lauren romance from priceline as it was much cheaper than myer but yeah, after checking the dates, it was about 18 months old already. Not too bad I thought
Compared to other EDT items? I assumed all EDT products fade after a couple hours at most given the low concentration
EDT doesnt last as long as EDP but i still find the good quality ones i have last for hours longer than the same brand / model but possibly bad quality / watered down.
It's never sold for $142 in Chemist Warehouse though.
I think it's the price for EDP? Maybe some kind of advertising loophole
Is this a good home office scent?
Who you tryna impress at home lol
That's the joke.
Wondering anyone bought it full price?
That would be an absolute tragedy!
Personally the vanilla scent deodoriser in Aldi for $1.89 is much better.
Lol, I have a vanilla toilet spray(the real Eau de Toilette :P ), it smells nice enough to wear albeit not on me most likely…..
Save your money.Eau de Toilette are the light version of a perfum. No one is going to be able to smell that thing on you from 1.5m away.
can it be used as hand sanitiser?
Can't get it online?
If you look on ozbargain, it has been cheaper on chemist warehouse than this price, Its strange, i would have thought the price would have kept dropping the older it got.
Anything that has Toilette in it will be hot cakes atm.
bought last year at special from CW at $26.99 and have always seen it around $40.
perfume is good but not long lasting like all other CW perfumes

Everyone that's bagging this, lol I get so many comments. My GF loves it, it mellows out after a few minutes, really woody but addictive. Probably use this one the most out of others I own. It's different though and probs not for everyone.
Anybody know the % alcohol? Could be great hand sanitiser!
Amazon has em for $39.99 as well (free delivery with Prime)
