  • Never thought I'd see the day 'self-isolation' was used as a selling point. Thought it was just a given with these things…

Have the 55" and 43" in the bedroom. Picture quality is amazing on Dynamic/HDR Dynamic, Standard was a little off and Standard HDR can be a little orange. Best to use an Xbox or something similar to calibrate colours. Can overclock the 43" to 80hz without frame skips, 55" only 65hz. Defiantly worth it at this price.

    • We have complete opposite views on this TV. I have the 43 inch use it as a monitor. Worst motion I've ever seen on a TV no matter what settings you use. HDR images are very average as the brightness isn't anywhere near what it needs to be and it doesn't have 10 bit colour so most objects look bland. Upscaling is poor so 1080p and down looks bad. Backlight comes through at the bottom so movies with black bars isn't great. This TV shut down on me a couple months back and had to get them to replace the main board. Then all hdmi ports didn't work so they had to come out again to replace it. Awful quality in every aspect! My main TV is a Sony X930E so in comparison to a high end HDR TV and basically any mid range one this is a total fail!

      • Yeah on whirlpool some people have similar issues but it's a low mid range tv. It's not like the r7 or above and comparing it to a high end is ridiculous. I also never upscale on a tv because that's just asking for trouble.

      • thank you for your feedback,I was thinking use it as a PC monitor.

Lag is ok once you enhance the hdmi feature. But picture is awful on HDMI ports, from apps on the actual TV like Netflix and Amazon etc it's fine but not great. Browsing online websites and google searches are blocky and seem like 480p - 720p resolution at best. Motion is a blurry mess with any fast moving content from movies to gaming. Even viewing slightly off angle or if using as a monitor up close the colour, brightness and clarity goes down by a big margin on the sides of the TV. Since its a VA panel I expected some shift but not when I'm a few centimetres off centre. Lucky I got this TV free, wouldn't pay $100 for it.
