Good mid tier monitor for the price point. Yes it is 1080p but then the price would be much higher for 2540.
Free Sync (i think gsync compatible), and good refresh rate at 144Hz (although probably not fully achievable).
I would love to buy the LG GL850 27inch IPS screen, but haven't seen it drop under the $700 mark again.hmmmmmm what to do.

Good job - you saved me $7.20
any idea as to why they would not ship to Melbourne by any chance brother?
They have now dropped the price to $292 - i didn't pull the trigger last night.
thanks for the update mate
Don't care for gaming.. is that a good monitor for home office? or slightly cheaper than $300 mark anything going? closer to $200-250?
Review for the 24" model.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MHdeDv9bqII'm planning on claiming mine on tax for work related.
Also, this monitor has a 90° pivot, which you'd also be hard pressed to come by for this price. If you're not gaming, and spend a lot of time reading/typing, you might want a VA panel instead of an IPS. The deep blacks are really worth it.

Thanks guys.. How's LC27F390FHEXXY vs AOC 27G2?
Can confirm it's Gsync compatible :) It's a good monitor
Source: I have onenice deal, any 1440p ones too?
I regretted going 1080p IPS Viewsonic to 4K VA Benq. Luckily the quality was so bad I was able to return it. For my money I'd save for an IPS if you care about image quality / consistency
Had
onethree. Nice monitors for the price, but be aware that:- Unlike IPS panels, pixel pitch is easier to notice for 1080P @ 27"
- I returned 3 of them because of bad pixels, so QA sucks
- There's the smear effect you get with VA panels as you'd expect
In the end I returned it and got a 144 IPS panel which I'm much happier with.
But these are IPS…
I'm an idiot. Ignore everything I said. lol
AOC are COMPLETELY RUBBISH!!!
Hang on…
Not bad!
They've certainly come a long way and improved over the years! At least as far as their gaming monitors go, I'd extend the three I'd look at to four. Which is Asus, BenQ, LG and now AOC!
The reviews of these have certainly turned around and they are providing very good 'bang for buck'
No viewsonic? Genuine question no snark.
I have the xg2530 I picked up for $320 about a year or maybe 2 years ago (deal was posted on ozbargain) and I still love it.
They've always been around but usually not at the top of the gamer's wishlist. I'm sure they've made some very decent monitors. I can remember as a kid seeing their ad's in the back of the APC mag.
Yep I understood the company as a bit of a bargain choice not a premium brand. But does the job nicely.
Would like the LG 27" at $636 again but I understand 24" is optimal for competitive shooters and I already have a 120hz 1440p option on my tv for less competitive games. First World problems I guess.
Viewsonic made some excellent monitors back in cathode raytube days. Just seem to be yet another brand these days.
I i have been rocking a BenQ XL2420Z for many a year and it has been fantastic.
But time for the bigger screen.
Would love to splash out on the LG, but need to save my pennies for the apocalypse
I have one of these monitors and just bought a 2nd to complete my dual screen setup. Can confirm these screens at 144hz is fantastic ! No faults with them whatsoever!
Looks good, but if I'm getting a new monitor it needs to be (at least) 2K…
I think they jacked up the price so no longer $292 after the discount code :/
the jack the price didnt they :(
