Awesome price of approximately $9 for Tin version of X-Men Trilogy plus about $1.50 postage.

Note that this is a Region 2 DVD for UK, so a multi player is required to play this DVD.

Edit: Just noticed Zavvi no longer does free post, for an extra $1.50, still not a bad deal.

  • What does "tin edition" mean?

    Amazing deal, unfortunately I already bought one by one :(

  • sucks about paying for post now :( even though its fairly cheap I hate it lol

      A true OzBargainer. Even though it is cheap, the thought at the back of your head about the $1.50 postage is killing you!

      • The $1.50 postage is not too bad, it seems to be per order, although it did say it was a per item charge.

    • You take the cake as the tightest man on OzzyB!

  • Looks like this item has been reduced by a number of UK sellers, Sendit is GBP 3.89 + post, and Amazon UK is GBP 6.24

    • It looks strange that Sendit seems to have the same items as Zavvi but they can offer this deal even cheaper.

      • Sendit works out about the same if you are in the UK with the 2 pound postage.

    Or check out Amazon for the X-Men Quadrilogy BluRay for ~$19 +p/h.

    Can't believe nobody has said this yet. UK has same region coding as us. You don't need a multi-region player for this.

    • I didn't care much because I could make a free region copy :)

      Can't believe nobody has said this

      nobody has said it because it's not true……

      uk = region 2
      Aus = region 4

      so you do need a multi region player

        Actually, the reference is for the X-Men Trilogy Blu-Ray, which is one of the best deals for a box set, and always a low price on Amazon.

        The benefit of this listed DVD Trilogy is that its a Tin set, and an item good for a collection.

          actually, the reference by woktree relates to the op stating (rightly) that a multi region player was needed to play this dvd set.
          Woktree (wrongly) refutes this

  • thanks op.just ordered this and Pirates Of The Caribbean - Trilogy Box Set for $24 delivered.

    got mixed up with blu rays perhaps? I dunno, don't buy dvd's anymore. And in any case, most dvd players are multi region nowadays so it's not really a problem.

    Yes, sorry, confused myself with blu-rays because I don't look at dvd's these days. mybad.

    I don't even know if i have a multiregion player. I don't think my PC DVD drives are capable and most of my cheap standalone players around the house are pretty 'no frills'.

    • PC DVD players are able to be changed to a different region, but you can only change a limited number of times, 5 times i think.

      Many players are already region free or can be changed to region free by entering a code on the remote.

      • +1

        You don't need to change the region (risking to crap your device) just install the right software then you can play "any" region as well as you can make a region free dvd copy.

    • I've always found that the cheaper the player, the more they seem to play :)

  • Will this play on an xbox 360 white version?

    • I tried out a region 1 dvd in my slim yesterday and it worked fine
