It’s a shit phone and it’s locked and out of stock.

Apart from that, do ya reckon it's worth getting?

Spend another $40 or so and get a Redmi 7A as a budget phone. It would be unlocked and dual sim.

        • Where from? Looking for budget phone around that price

1GB ram does not function with Android now.
"expandable memory" is a lie, since sd-card has very limited purpose, and does not "expand" main memory.

Good news. It's running Android GO edition.

      does not "expand" main memory

It should say expandable storage instead of expandable memory. You can choose to format the memory card to allow apps to be installed on it. What makes it so limited? Genuine question because I've only ever used an SD card to store media. I gather some apps won't allow themselves to be installed on an SD card but I thought they were in the minority.

      • Generally, you can't install apps to the external storage. It is useful for media, but not much more.
There is only about 4GB available, which is also used for updates to system apps, and will run out very quickly.
Google-play services seems to be the main offender for bloat.

"Go" seems to mean running some things like email and maps in the browser instead of separate apps. But still very sluggish.
It worked better in 1GB when it first came out.
