Probably not the best place to be.

Teenagers coughing and sneezing, then rubbing their hands on the joysticks?

Has been waiting for this for a long time.
Have spent $4000 in the past year in Timezone. Is there any group for this arcade that I can join?

    • They have Instagram

    • Holy crap that's impressive! What games do you spend most of your money on?

    • +5

Credits don't expire for 12 months and that date renews if you use the card for anything.

      • So I can use it some other time? Just need to load the credit today?

Can you tell the PM to add all stores to his groups of 500 or more banning from Monday.
Your the medical expert that unfortunately he didn’t consult .

How good were the 2hour lock in sessions back in the 90s?

Chatswood 7-9am timezone then 3 hour Simpsons block on the couch of grace bros.
    Good times

I swear it used to be $5 for an hour of unlimited games back then.

Now they want $26 for it when kids have awesome consoles and phones, GL with that.

      • Think it was 10.
Was same price in QLD and Sydney

    • +3

Timezone in Adelaide used to do all night lock in sessions in the 90s, as did Zone 3, and late 80s Vultrek was the place for all night lock in laser tag and video games.

Midnight to 6am, used to love going to these. Sure my mum hated the drop off and pick up though…

      • Haha yeah, zone 3!
Used to do them in manly, Sydney too.
I remember when they got xmen vs street fighter. I didn't even do the events, just wanted to play that all night.

The name "super session" comes to mind.

      Those were the days….

Actually wait now I have also the games I want at home.

      These are the days.

      • Yeah super session was the name.
Yep have all the games at home and can even play xmen v sf online but I do miss arcades.
Learning from other players. People gracious in defeat and people not been cheap.. Well not after doing it once anyway.

        But time moves on.

I get to enjoy losing to a 13 year old and being called the "c" word

At least you know he really means what he says to you. Nothing like being able to trust in honest communication from those around us.

  • Mmm virus machines.

  • Hey op, did you get your am/pm mixed up for the start time for this deal?

  • So close to platinum card but I can't make it into the city today T_T.

    • What games do you play?

      • I only play Pump It Up.

        • Love pump it up. However, there’s only DDR in adelaide

    • The way I read it you can get platinum but putting $1k on your card?

      • Yes.

Gold is much easier I think it was $250?

  • +4

I wish they had more pinball machines

  • How much are games these days at Timezone?

  • Love this place!

  • Time zone is so expensive compared to places in the USA. You get true unlimited play and better ticket/prize ratio in the USA. Kids and parents enjoy it when it's not a complete rip off.

  • Don't waste your money. Just buy a game and play online.

  • Did anyone regret buying this deal now that everything is in lockdown?
