Velocity members will receive a Tiered Discount on their Velocity Points purchases when they purchase through the Velocity Points Booster website, the Velocity App or the Membership Contact Centre between 12:00 AM AEST March 9, 2020 and 11:59 PM AEDT March 17 2020 (Promotion Period).
Tiered Discounts are broken out in the following percentage discounts depending on the amount of Points purchased in any one transaction under the promotion during the Promotion Period:
- 1,000($32.41) – 10,000($292.5) Points = 10% discount, ≈3.24-2.92c
- 11,000($300.05) – 49,000 Points = 15% discount, ≈2.72-2.05c
- 50,000($937.6) – 250,000($4679.99) Points = 20% discount, ≈1.87c
Purchasing Points is subject to the Velocity membership Terms and Conditions. Points can only be purchased to redeem on a specific Reward. During the Promotion Period, Points can be purchased for a minimum of 1,000 Points and a maximum of 250,000 Points. A Member may make unlimited Points purchase transactions up the maximum purchase of 250,000 Points per Calendar Year. Points will be allocated to the Membership Account of the Member purchasing them. Prices are in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST. The applicable price will be the price published at the time of purchase and is subject to change without notice. Purchased Points are non-refundable (subject to your statutory rights). Points Booster transactions are processed outside of Australia. You are responsible for any additional fees charged by your financial institution in connection with your Points Booster transaction. I don't use any points based rewards cards or systems so I am a bit ignorant to this. Why would you buy points when they're usually redeemable for less than it cost you to buy them?
