  • @op How's the speed like when you are torrenting linux distros?

    • It's only the one server US California-1 which allows for that, so user load can peak to 60% and at those times it can be comfortably 80% throttle of my normal connections. Albeit higher latency, but for torrenting i'm not fussed. I am testing from Sydney on a NBN connection

P.S I use windscribe as my daily VPN for me and the wife, since the GUI and background option filtering is good, but the speeds are like 20% of KeepSolid, hence why I am recommending this specific VPN deal for anyone with p2p needs or speed requirements.

    Yet another ponzi scheme VPN.

    • +2

There are plenty of free decent VPN's like i mentioned i use a free Windscribe account for me and the wife as a daily. However as a gamer and p2p user, this has been a good service for me and a something I can personally recommend when comparing to the 4-5 I have tried in the last 8 years.

Appreciate the "yet another" sentiment, but i hope i'm not involved in a ponzi scheme, and if i am, i am all too oblivious and happy to be educated of the errs of my ways. After all, i'm just here for a bargain and value for money products.

  • Keepsolid is not bad.

  • +1

This is the regular price via stacksocial, nothing special here.

Using Keepsolid since last 5 months or so Good service and support
Havent really faced any issue. works fine with Netflix, iBBC and Hotstar which i frequently use.
Speeds are less via Streaming servers. my 100M speeds get reduced to around 30-40M when using streaming servers

Been using this for about 2 years. From memory I got it for about AUD 25-30. Definitely worth the price paid. Even used it in China to get around the restrictions there. It has an app for Android TV as well. Works a treat for Apps like Hotstar, iBBC and Netflix.

    • Hi, are there any configuration to watch the hotstar? Whenever I turn on the VPN the message pops in hotstar app saying VPN detected. Any advice would be great and appreciated

      • +1

Nope. I have an Indian Hotstar account and it works great. Just select location to India.

      • +1

nope. Just select an Indian host location (Pune/Karnataka are the only option i think right now). Start and then fire up Hotstar. Works with no issues

  • Although surf shark options are better the speed is terrible compared to Keepsolid.

  • Yeah not the best deal.
