      Agreed. Rep, I would happily pay $8.95 to the entertainer if you would drop the booking fee.
      This deal seems like I’m giving 0% to the entertainer and 100% to you.

        From what I've heard the entertainer gets a particular amount of seat sales guaranteed from the government as an incentive. Not sure on the specifics but thats probably why his/her/their managers offer free tickets to the show in the first place

        Who's to say the artist doesn't get a cut of the bar takings?

        Also a full house is far better atmosphere for a comedy show
