Still too expensive for one the worst attractions in Melbourne
To your left you have the ass end of the CBD and to your right, a lovely view of Footscray's industrial zone.
I feel sorry for the retail shops down there, it's a ghost town. They were promised over a million people a year down there!
Yeah and they're completed screwed if Costco ever leaves. I'd bet something like half the foot traffic in Docklands of a weekend is due to Costco being there.
It's slowly picking up, there is quite a lot of new food stores down there now, the Ramen and Greek places are really good!
I'm a short walk from the area for work and when I first started 2 years ago I couldn't understand how any business survived down there.
@vipersnews: I live not far away and Yassas (Greek) is great and having Woolies and Dan's plus new food places such as China Bar is helping it heaps.
It is picking up. The fruit and veg place down there is well priced, the Woollies is a big one, the Hoyts is one with very comfy recliner seats and then there is Costco. The free tram extends down there so it is worth a visit, I do, agree, it does have its fair share of empty shops, particularly upstairs.
I'm hanging out for the 10th anniversary 100% off sale.
Will you survive Corona Outbreak?
Yeah mate, don't really like beer.
He said Corona, not beer…
"melbourne Star turns every day"
false advertising!! it didnt work for a longggggg time
Starting… now.
adult tickets can often be purchased on scoopon for $15 as well
why of course this happens just after I went on Sunday
What did you think of it?
not really worth it, but if it's something you have to see, do it.
it doesn't go up all that high. And the announcements from the 'captain' are kinda annoying.
Thanks, I suspected as much. It really is a bad position for it.
i did it for the first time recently,
full price of $30-$40 id be hating it,
but for $15 it was ok,$300 for the cabin to your self, no way in hell!
I quite enjoyed it myself, went during the sunset. view was lovely. & had a cabin to each group, due to low inflow of people i suppose. plus got a straw memento $3.50 with a purchase (coffee $3.50).
Were are you supposed to put the promo code. This site sucks with the zillion different options offered.
