    Last time when Echo Dot 3 was $49 the Coke voucher only gave $20 off instead of $50 off still making it $29 in the end.

    I had to do it on an old account. Wouldn't work on my main account. Paid $7 for prime to get it for this price. Then ended my membership immediately and was refunded half of it.

    Pretty good deal still. No idea why my main account wouldnt work.

      Firstly you need prime amazon membership. Secondly you needed to have done the free Coca Cola deal from few weeks ago which gave a coupon for a discounted echo dot 3. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/515642. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/515647.

      If you did all of this then go onto amazon and add the echo dot 3 to your checkout. $39. Then add the coupon in the checkout page in coupon section. This will reduce the price to $0. Order.

      I believe you can only redeem the Coke coupon once per account, so it's probably not letting you redeem another code after you ordered.

    Called Amazon and rep confirmed what we already knew the codes were all expired. Offered me $10.50 promo credit to make Echo Dot 3 $29 as per original offer but made me have to add the item to cart and pay and only then credit the $10.50 as promo credit for future purchase

    Amazon didn't need to cancel these codes. Only 6000 bottles of Coke were given away so we can assume only 6000 codes are in circulation. If we deduct the number of codes that were used to buy the echo dot for $29 then there's definitely less than 6000 given away for free.

    Don’t worry guys, amazon just called me back and told me it’s a technical problem and that many other people are experiencing problems claiming the codes. They assured me that they are fixing it right now. So this deal may become free again or it will go back to $29 after applying code.
