here is a random gaming mouse that looks decent for the money

now the real trick you can apply to drastically increase the performance of just about any mice is to overclock it's polling rate from default 125hz to 500-1000hz, i got mine to work with this(working dl link in last post in that thread), its literally 4-8x performance bump for free:

people seem to be in disbelief about my views on gaming mice:

so here is some factual evidence(click on quake pro gear, starcraft 2 pro gear):

here is gear that og pros used to compete at top level:

edit: sorry didn't see $3 shipping, this might go down after the coronavirus thing blow over…
edit1: latest shipping update: my graphics card seller currently saying 1st week of march, YMMV

What’s the simple version of doing that hack as the link instructions seems messy.

here is the archive i downloaded a few years ago that worked: http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=832034087327965…

i can't remember clearly, but i think you right click HIDUSDBF.inf, click install

      mouserate.exe monitors the polling rate
open setup.exe click the mouse device, select "filter on device"/1000hz, install service / restart

keep in mind i have a really early version of windows 10(not updated) and this worked, to get it working on the latest version you may have to read the latest posts on that thread

I got a package from there the other day which I ordered before the outbreak. Treated it like a biohazard. Does anyone know how long the virus can survive in transit like that?

      • best way is to put it in the sun heat kills it

It's a virus & without a host only survives ~hours.. So i have been led to believe..

I'm in the same situation with an item from Amazon that was shipped directly from Wuhan!

      • i've opened a couple and i'm still alive. the first one i just ripped open without even thinking about the virus. i washed my hands afterwards for the others

        https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/faq.html

Am I at risk for COVID-19 from a package or products shipping from China?

A: There is still a lot that is unknown about the newly emerged COVID-19 and how it spreads. Two other coronaviruses have emerged previously to cause severe illness in people (MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV). The virus that causes COVID-19 is more genetically related to SARS-CoV than MERS-CoV, but both are betacoronaviruses with their origins in bats. While we don’t know for sure that this virus will behave the same way as SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV, we can use the information gained from both of these earlier coronaviruses to guide us. In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread most often by respiratory droplets. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods. Information will be provided on the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) website as it becomes available.

$13.50 with 12-20 day shipping which is usually about 15 days to Melbourne, instead of 20-41 days which usually takes around 4-5 weeks for Melbourne at least in my experience.

    • Looks the same but cheaper but shipping would be same

      • what you mean shipping would be the same don't understand, its $13.50 inc shipping using ems epacket not china post/aliexpress default which the $15.00 original listed is.

edit- vast difference in time it takes for epacket to get to melbourne compared to chinapost/aliexpress standard shipping.

        • you have to add gst, and i think the $3 shipping is because of caronavirus, normally it is ~10.50 shipped:

@abctoz: different store lol, go with that 1. unless OOS. though can buy it now so must have stock. China post rather than aliexpress standard, no epacket option :( hate waiting 30+ days.

edit, $13.50 already inc gst on 1 I linked, as I clicked BIN to get complete figure,
