Tunein Radio is the killer for me.
I got the pro version from here, after liking the regular version….but not sure what the difference is?
Pro version adds recording and pausing. I was disappointed after installing… I still prefer XiiaLive and as a result, I've uninstalled TuneIn Pro.
I like TuneIn's layout and appearance much more, but the features and ability to maintain a stream are far superior in XiiaLive in my experience. Tunein just keeps having to re-buffer!I also prefer xiialive for less buffering. But Tunein has local Australian stations which can be convenient, so I'm yet to uninstall.

What about future updates? Is this just current version only.
Only the current versions sadly, unlike the amazon appstore updates are not supported as of yet… but i can see in the future getjar developing a proper app (rather than a browser app) and allowing updates of apps.
I installed Guns n' Glory using Getjar then it showed up in the update tab of Amazon Appstore. When I hit update it said it had detected the app from an unkown source and offered to replace it with the Amazon version. Presumably I will now get future updates via Amazon Appstore.
Are these apps completely free or have they been made ad-supported?

If doesn't have swiftkey x, I highly recommend it
Just started using Swiftkey X, not sure it is a faster way of typing than FlexT9. Just seems… awkward.

Have been using FlexT9 for a while, quite like it for swipe typing (over swype)
But might give swiftkey a try just to see what its like

What is the Quick Download supposed to do?
I thought it would allow me to download the apps without the GetJar app, but when I enter the code and tap download it just refreshes the same page.No it tells you to download & install the GetJar app.
I went to install the GetJar app & it requires access to "Phone Calls: read phone state and identify" sounds dodgey to me.

The GetJar app seems to run as a service to the browser, there's no UI. try downloading again from your browser.

Ah I see, was also using Dolphin. Redownloaded apk via stock browser and all working.
Yep, just found that out. Downloaded getjar apk via mobile browser, but when running nothing happens.
The website (via PC) says that the getjar app isnt compatible with HTC desire also.
Getjar doesn't seem to work well on my Huawei U8150. Didn't manage to download an app :(
