This is the 1996 mini series produced by BBC starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Elhe.

  As mentioned by the OP, it's £8.49 at Amazon UK, and to get the price in $AU if you take off VAT and do the exchange rate I multiply by 1.25 (not absolutely exact because of fluctuating rates, but close enough), plus shipping which is free if you spend over £25 on Blu-Rays, DVD's, Books etc that qualify for Super Saver Shipping to Australia.

    As for the exchange rate for GBP -> AUD, isn't it closer to 1.6?
    www.xe.com is citing: 1.00 GBP = 1.57720 AUD
    (I multiplied by 1.6 in my post to be conservative.)

  Hmmm P&P was 4 pounds when I bought it (last year sometime I think?) from amazon uk, so this is a good buy if you want it just on it's own… but there are indeed some great dvd buys from amazon if you clock up 25 pounds worth.
