Terabyte Tuesday - 1TB Usenet Block for $10 US (~ $15 AUD) @ Newsgroupdirect

170

For those needing to top up their existing block accounts here is a TB for an ok price……. Not a set the world alight price though.

I can't remember exactly who the backbone is for this but I have no doubt others will jump in with the detail and the pros and cons.

I have never had an issue with them and with the use of Sonarr and Radarr takedowns aren't something I experience…… Older stuff may be slightly different.

      Wtf are you talking about?

I agree with you. Clearly the neggers have no idea what Usenet is or else they would know that that 99% of Usenet messages are spam. And not just spam, the worst kind of spam you can imagine.

Or the neggers aren’t ignorant and know that no one reads these spam messages and they use decent indexers and nzbs.

  • Are newsgroups still very active? I haven't used them for over 10 years.

    • For nzbs, yes.

Clearly not, you have forgotten the first rule

    • Yep they are. I have been using them for somewhere around 25 years without issue.

The hurdle these days is getting into a decent indexer.

      • Are there any free indexers that are any good?

        • +1

Most free indexers disappeared or went underground and started a charging model or limited the number of api / grabs pet day.

This post has a list of indexers that are pretty good but not totally free.

Not sure if this helps anyone but i was a paid member with them for about 2 years. Bank card expired and never updated it on their website. Been using them from Aug last year till now. I cant log in to their website buy my unlimited account us still active lol.

  • Don't know their retention, but pretty sure they're on UsenetExpress backbone.

  • Hey guys - just purchased to give it a try as backup in queue with my other ones.

Any difference in US/Europe server? I normally VPN through to Copenhagen as my other providers are in Europe, but I mean content wise would they be exactly the same?

    • +1

They should be the same. I think geographically they are to reduce latency and improve access times.
