Not a bad price for a laptop with these specs. 10th gen i7 also (see full specs on Ebay listing).
Model no: 8QW29PA
TGG currently have it advertised for $1189 down from $1399.
Take another $100 off using PUNNET code on Ebay. Code works for eBay Plus members.

(not an expert) the graphics card is not a gaming card it would struggle playing a lot of games.
It's pretty darn high spec for the price otherwise though. So as a 'productivity' machine it's amazing at this price point.
We get similar Dell ones for work and pay close to double this much. Not saying they're as good quality (maybe they are) but spec-wise.For a productivity machine sure. The comment you replied to is making a perfectly valid statement that it will be bad for games.
Don't know why the downvotes. 100% agree
Great price
This is actually a decent deal for the specs. It's a 10th generation core i7. More info on good guys site: https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/hp-156-inches-laptop-8qw29pa
Hp? No thanks 🙄

What a bad name… Can't they come out with a name? Envy or something?
Why not HP Unnamed 15.6" lol
I'm at lost with these tech companies naming strategy. Samsung with their Note 6 to 7, then now from 10 to 20. I can't see the logic in there.
If you can live with the 8Gb ram, built-in graphic card with the 10th gen i7 and 256Gb SSD, the [Acer Aspire 5] (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/512058) is a good deal from the good guys too at $899, thinner & maybe? lighter than the HP.

Think its worth waiting for a better code than Punnet?
EDIT:Also anyone able to find reviews for this model?
I'm not willing to bite the bullet without knowing about any glaring design flaws like heat management.
Also it says this comes with Windows 10 S Home Plus.
Which apparently may or may not cost money to upgrade into the regular version.
Out of curiosity where does it say that? I can see on the ebay listing and GGs site where it says windows 10 home. It also says windows 10 home plus when you look at the technical specs list on their site
On the good guys website.
Some of the specs are a little inconsistent though.
For instance it says no USB-C port and SD Card reader but you can clearly see it on the pictures.
I got one. It has a USB-C port and card reader.
their up and down arrows are too crammed on a lot of models, fire the designer
Bought it today, but going to return it tomorrow.
The specs are nice, but as a trade off for going i5 > i7, 256GB SSD > 512GB and 16GB of ram instead of 8GB it has a plastic body instead of the metal one the other laptop priced the same has.
For the OZB experts… thoughts?
