I bought a couple of these for the chicken coop to deter the creatures of the night and they seem to be doing the job. Nice and bright easy to use decent range and come with pre-installed batteries.

  • pardon the noob question - i hope to get 1 of this but I need to place this in a place with no direct sunlight … will that work?

No, get one of the ones where the light and panel are separate

Price is good.. but the issue is, most of us didn't revive it… Complaint logged,, no response..

Hmm I'm wondering if Banggood are charging GST, but not handing it over?

Unfortunately I have to second this - I've purchased many items from Banggood in the past, but of late I've had this occur a few times.
The few times they did respond, they told me it was returned from Customs. Banggood were apparently aware of this being returned but never contacted me!

So it's a 50/50 gamble as to if you'll ever receive your order.

      • Mine arrived within two weeks. Great product. Thanks Banggood

ill wait for the 63 led version

I ordered these recently from Banggood, received them fairly quickly (within their specified timeframe). Overall build quality is good for the price. I felt the housing seal is not tight but given their IP rating, I would assume some form of lining is provided as protection. I installed them outdoors and time will only tell. But, in terms of functionality, it is very good value for money.

I bought something similar at bunnings the other day for $29

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/click-motion-sensor-solar-led-se…

    • I like the high/low beam option on the Bunnings version if its anything like they have on the Arlec branded motion-sensor solar lights.

I recognize some people have had troubles with the store, but the product is a fair deal for under $20. Mine were delivered within 2 weeks from the same gang.

Very good build quality, and replaceable - not soldered-in 18650 Li-ion cell.

Only issue I have , is that I wanted to install close to a white gutter, but its so bright that light bouncing of ceiling and wall and the gutter activates the cutoff (it thinks its too bright - still daylight outside). So I need to find another use for them.

Would buy more. Here are some pictures from the inside: https://imgur.com/a/YbmCyQq

I measured the capacity of the provided cell to be closer to 1800mAh - not far from the claimed 2200

I ordered two of them and received. After installation I am also facing same issue. The light turns up and gets off in few seconds. Bit annoying and it is similar to someone flashing lights on face. Not sure what to do with them now.

But the good thing is they reached quickly and light is very bright. Also the build quality is very good.

      • Just adding, I kept lowering the position of the light to a point where the reflection is not happening. Now it is working fine. It your tip which helped me to fix the issue.

        Ta.

  • I ordered tow of these on last sale back in Nov/2019. I am still waiting for them. all other order arrived but this. :(

  • I bought them couple of weeks ago works fine , delivery was on time and buy it through the app it’s cheaper (no GST for some reason)

    • Looks like this is hit & miss. Have ordered many items from this seller.. only issue with this particular item.. even the stuff that I ordered after this have arrived on time..

  • Ordered one couple of months ago didnt get it. Upo. Contacting banggood they notified it was stopped by customs. Got my money back but still looking forgood quality light. Any substitutes?

  • Ordered multiple times for myself and friends in total like 10 pcs and always received around 2 weeks. Very bright and no need direct sun light.

I've got some of these 100LED ones https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/383093641009 work really well, much better than expected.

These are cheaper too @ $15.99 for 1 (even cheaper when buying more).
