      Unfortunately, it has been incredibly difficult to find reviews on the PURE Verona, which may be because most major online stores (such as Amazon) don't seem to be selling the Verona's. Furthermore, the official Pure website itself doesn't contain any reviews either. (http://www.pure.com/au/products/product.asp?Product=VL-61195…). If there are any reviews out there though, we would be happy to post them on our website.

      We would also be happy to open one to allow our customers to hear the product before purchasing (because, it is always best to listen to a unit before purchasing anyway, as everyone has a different interpretation of what "good" audio is). In fact, interestingly enough (and unrelated enough), I read that in some countries, people interpret cool white as "white" whilst others interpret warm white as "white". With sound, people may possibly have similar interpretations based on culture.

    Wow, can't believe how expensive this portable radio is, while not even including the battery pack so it can be used portably…

    That said it does seem to be the cheapest price for this item from the limited stores I could find that sell it.

    If I were going to shell out this much on a digital radio with 3" drivers, then I'd like to see what the controls and display look like. The only photo on the site shows the front grill and thats about it. Bit of a #fail in my books.

      That is a fair point. As mentioned, those who are in Victoria are free to drop by our warehouse (it might be best to call us first though to ensure that we have stock available and that someone is available). This would allow them to see (and more importantly hear) the players themselves

      However, when our next delivery of Verona's arrives, we'll also take a few photos. Unfortunately we don't have a lightbox, however, I'll certainly do my best. I have already suggested that review units are sent out, and a few more photos are taken.
