New Year Services 2019-20

New Year’s Eve – Tuesday 31 December 2019
There will be plenty of additional services across trains, buses and ferries, and after midnight free travel will be in place until 6am on 1 January.
Train services
Trains will operate on a weekday timetable with additional services operating on all lines before and after midnight. Check the JourneyPlanner for more information.
Bus services
Buses will operate on a weekday timetable with additional services on selected routes before and after midnight. CATs are running to normal weekday timetable. More information on New Year's Eve buses.
Ferry services
Ferries will operate as follows:
Departing Elizabeth Quay Jetty - 30-minute frequency between 6.30am - 7.15am and 11.00pm - 1.00am, and a 15-minute frequency between 7.15am and 11.00pm.
Departing Mends St Jetty - 30-minute frequency between 6.45am - 7.30am and 11.15pm - 1.15am, and a 15-minute frequency between 7.30am and 11.15pm.
Passengers will need to tag on with their SmartRider or purchase a ticket to travel as normal before midnight.
New Year’s Day – Wednesday 1 January 2020
Train services
Train services will operate on a Sunday/Public Holiday timetable.
Bus services
Buses will operate on a Sunday/Public Holiday timetable. Perth and Fremantle CATs are running, however the Joondalup CAT is not running.
Ferry services
Ferries will operate as follows:
Departing Elizabeth Quay Jetty - 30-minute frequency between 7.30am and 10.00am, then a 15-minute frequency until 9.30pm.
Departing Mends St Jetty - 30-minute frequency between 7.45am and 10.15am, then a 15-minute frequency until 9.45pm.
Passengers will need to tag on with their SmartRider or purchase a ticket to travel as normal before midnight.[WA]
