Save yourself USD $279.30 and use Visual Studio Community Edition for FREE and if you want PS code only GUI then also use Powershell GUI editor for FREE.

    • +1

PowerShell Studio offers more features than both of these combined, in addition to being one product instead of designing a GUI online, copying the script to a different product, then having to deal with the inconvenience of copy-pasting later if you want to add more elements.

Visual Studio Community edition requires a free add-on to effectively work with PowerShell, which also offers a paid edition for extra features (USD $99 at time of writing), but doesn't support the ease of PowerShell Studio for design and implementation.

Extra features that are useful include:

      • Export to EXE and MSI
      • Limiting the running option of the generated EXE to certain users, domains, OS, etc.
      • Easy toggling between design and script
      • Live debugging at line or variable-modification breakpoints

I agree that for many people using poshgui or the free Visual Studio module would suffice (hell, use the built-in PowerShell ISE, it's featured enough). But for people who may want or need the extra features, it's a good time to buy it.
