Sennheiser RS 165 Wireless Headphone is perfect for connecting to a TV, receiver, or any other audio device for an excellent wireless headphone experience.

The base transmitter unit connects to the Audio Output at the back of the TV with either the included mini (1/8") cable or the HeadRoom mini to RCA cable depending on what kind of outputs the TV has. Some TV's only have a Digital Optical output and if that's the case, you may want to consider getting the Sennheiser RS 175 since it has these connections built in. The base unit also acts as a great stand for storing and charging the headphones.

The sound of the RS 165 is very clear so speech and conversations are very audible even for the hard of hearing. There is also a Bass Boost feature that provides very strong thump and impact for a more exciting experience for movies. The closed back design of the earcups provide good noise isolation so the sound from the headphones does not leak into the room and the user won't be disturbed by the TV speakers. The headphones are comfortable, lightweight, and the large earcups fit well around the ears.   I think mine are RS 145, they sound way better than Bose QC35 II, which is only good for noise isolation.

  This was my first purchase from Addicted to Audio, I was actually a bit worried as I never heard of them (found the deal through a Google Ad) but went ahead after a google street view of their shop in Newtown gave me some confidence. Shortly after purchase I got a (probably generic) email from their MD thanking me, it went like this:

  Even though i included it in my deal post, I missed out on using the discount code, found out about it on ozb after I'd already bought them…so I thought I'd be cheeky and ask if he could sort me out. He's replied and said he'll get me a refund for the difference. What a legend :) Haven't received them in the mail yet but seems to be a decent company, if they follow through I'll be very happy.

    I've been dealing with their software licensing subsidiary/branch/division called Busisoft AV (it's run by the exact same people) for years now and they're very professional and timely with their turnaround/deliveries/responses.
