Not an AU wall plug but a mainland china wall plug.
Australian standard three pin plug has part insulation on the Active/Line and earth pin is slightly longer.
It will work but not authorised for AU use.

That’s a neg from me then. Potentially dangerous item.

In addition, OP’s posting history is very spammy with low vote count and lots of posts deleted by mods. Seems OP is just using this site to advertise rather than offer the community any actually bargains.

Don't be a drama queen. These are probably fine to use, you just should not re-sell them domestically.

Yes, I have seen sub-standard chinese devices, e.g. insufficient isolation between input and output voltages. But most are good, and these are branded.

Yes so don't import and sell them nor use them for commercial purposes.

Meanwhile everyone who intends personal use is absolutely fine just like every tourist who brings their own charger.

    Fix your spammy title FFS

  • The split air conds usually have wall plugs on the outdoor walls. Do these plugs have outdoor ratings (IPX) or for indoor use only?

    • +1

This will operate the indoor unit via IR just like the aircon's remote control.

  • interesting product, how does it work on AC units?

    • It's basically a wifi controlled Infra-red remote control.

        thanks,

so similar principle to the Broadlink RM Pro+, just with less messy cables.

      • So, does it switch the outlet power??

And does it have the larger earth pin of 15A sockets? (Or at least the earth slot.)

    • 110-240V

  • Does this mean the IR lens would be facing down though when installed in an AU outlet?

  • So let me get this right. Reading the product description, it’s wifi controlled only, there’s nothing IR? The title mentioned both wifi and IR?

Looks like it has an IR blaster in it to control the aircon via the app.

  • Is there a list of compatible aircons ?

As others said, its not an AU plug, but a china plug (similar but not the same). Also being a china plug which sits upside down, the IR sender which communicates with your aircon (the only purpose of this device) will actually be on the bottom on a standard AU wall socket, so highly doubt it would work here unless you turn your GPO upside down. Otherwise put it on a powerboard and put that upside down.

Either way, fairly pointless here and shouldn't be advertised as AU plug, or at least make it clear to buyers what will need to be done.

The Broadlink RM4 Mini is currently on sale at Amazon until 5pm today.
    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07ZT73ZMP/ref=cm_sw_r_other_ap…

    • Is it much better than the mini bean one?

      • I'm not familiar with anything other than the RM Pro +, and after getting it today the RM4 mini.
I could only get the RM4 working in the newer Broadlink app vs ihc app for the Pro +.

Upon logging in to Broadlink app it carried over all my ihc appliances except a custom device I created for certain buttons on my Marantz stereo.
The newer app didn't seem to allow user defined buttons on appliances either so I had to teach certain commands to other buttons.
