I just bought one from HN $699 2 days ago , thought I got a good deal , now JB HIFI down the price to $697 ( was $799 )

But it is very good tablet , nice design and quality built .

there is no 3G but you can use WIFI /BLUETOOTH via iphone 4 " Personal Hotspot" or 3G dongle via its USB .

    Awaiting for mine to arrive from Amazon. This price is more reasonable as the OZ$ has plummeted.

    You need to use a hack to get a 3g dongle with usb to work. Many phones can tether to the transformer, not just the iphone.

      I'm in the process of importing the Galaxy Tab 10.1 (32GB WIFI) from Amazon. Forwarded by Comgateway, total price shipped = $609. Thinner, lighter & better screen than the Transformer.

        Asus transformer is cheaper, has micro sd slot and mini hdmi port.

          If you read my comment, I paid $609. Didn't need SD, HDMI or a keyboard. Just a thin, light & portable tablet for browsing the web & watching videos. 10.1 was the winner.

          They're both great tablets though.

          I did read you're comment, but You didn't mention what you needed it for. The screen is pratically the same, and yes it's a little bit lighter and thinner, I'd definitely rather pay less, have the extra ports and the option to buy the dock.

          I was comparing it to the 32gb version of the transformer from amazon which is around $515 delivered.

          I agree both are very good tablets.

    Keyboard dock is highly recommended as double battery capicity and rest your arms while you're in bed, holding the tablet for long period is a bit uncomfortable as your arms get tired ;-)
