I think this is probably more for the people who still use video and don't understand the tech enough to convert to video (or want to save themselves some time).
Do people get their video tapes sent back to them as part of this deal?
Sorry, but these days I put these VHS-to-DVD services in the same basket with those cassette players and record turntables with USB outputs on them; preying on the technologically uninformed with overpriced solutions to easily-solved problems.
No matter how good your equipment is, for anyone whose PC has a DVD burner, these prices are trumped by a $30 USB TV digitiser. And not only are DVD burners cheap these days, but many of us are spending time trying to get our media OFF the things rather than ONTO them.

there are much cheaper alternatives available.deals.com.au has many negative voted deals on ozbargain, and many more unpopular ones. I think they should stop spamming us.

I dont know about this deal, something tells me the DVD VHS unit is under a 100. So this doesn't sound like a deal.
