  Fresnel lens.
  Makes more sense to wear reading glasses and hold the phone closer. Much brighter and less image degradation.

  You could use this as a member enlarger. Equally useful.

    Personally, I find that strapping magnifying glasses to my eyes works nearly as well. Then I can see everything zoomed in.
