  • Income required = $65,000

    • I take it quite a high min credit limit then.
I just applied the other day for the cheapest Amex to see what statement credits I get.

      • No. I have this card with a $3000 limit.

  • I got it earlier this year at 100k bonus sign up points. 70k is not a big deal.

  • +3

Even at 100k sign up bonus now it's not worth it.

    • +1

What Amex cards worth it? I'm mainly after a card that has nil annual of enough benefits to cover the annaul fee?

Reason for the card was all the amex deals.

      • Just go for one of the three no annual fee cards (whether you care about Velocity, Qantas or Amex points)

    • Better than no points at all!

Churn this card just like every other card.

There's nothing special about AMEX cards anymore.

      • Better to wait for FF points card deal if you're paying that annual fee. 100k Qantas or Velocity points is like 200k Amex points…

  • Referral link showing 60,000 points not 70,000 as in title.

60,000 points was the bonus on offer (using a referral link) when I applied for this card 3 months ago.

  • You can get 100k points twice per year so this is pretty average.

  • I had a pleasant experience with Amex. As promised I received the 100K points and the $450 Travel Credit. I received bonus points for every dollar I spent on Qantas Website using the same card. Their App is great! Love the notifications and transparency.

  • It says the points can be used with TicketMaster, but what about the 'travel' credit?
