Im looking for a phone and just checked the official store for xiaomi note 8 pro. $450 then I went to their where to buy links section and it took me to their official ebay store and the same phone with ebay coupons a whole $70 off to $380 with gst etc etc. Go figure…
@SetsunaFSeiei: I bought the Redmi Note 8 Pro for 185 USD from AliExpress for Black Friday, which is about 273 AUD.

Isn't free gift a tautology?
True but what else could it be written as that's short and precise and rolls off the tongue?
A jaffa
Eddie Obeid might disagree
In the same way the media like to use 'safe haven', just to confirm the place of safety is also safe.
"Unexpected surprise" makes a regular showing too.
if you click on the link to official retailers on the website, the xiaomi au website itself is not listed :D
The reason they're not listed is because it's run by a 3rd party company called Panmi who were awarded the rights to be the official Xiaomi Australia seller/distributor in Australia. If they were run by Xiaomi Corporation directly themselves then it would be listed as mi.com/au.
Just to be certain though I asked my friends who work at Xiaomi, their live chat in multiple regions and also reached out to Xiaomi support in China - they all came back and said Panmi are official.
Yea looks official enough. Just thought it was funny. In Chinese cities there are multiple mi stores.. Some official, some not! But identical to the unsuspecting eye
Prices are RRP. You're a mug if you shop there.
I laughed when I saw they were selling a small wooden train set for well over $100 and marketing it as a STEM toy.
Ummm. No.
You should see any teaching aides catalogue. Insane pricing for plastic coloured circular shapes
To be fair unlike IT equipment that costs more it might have some benefit for the children.
sorry the prices at this store is amazingly expensive
