Great price considering the shipping cost east to west for 65” Tv. E.g. at least $180 to PERTH metro quoted by Bing Lee, Appliances Central etc for other 65” Tv. Which makes this $369!!!

  • We got one of these in May, has been great. The only odd thing it does is occasionally turn on for a second by itself and then off again, usually at night (or that's when we notice it).

Probably doing an automatic check for firmware updates. My 2011 Samsung did that. Just try disabling automatic firmware updates and see if that helps.

I think this is very cheap for a 65" 4K TV but you get what you pay for. Do yourself a favour; read reviews and specs first before buying to avoid unnecessary disappointment.

Was on budget as I just started a mortgage so I bought this TV for 5 months now. It's been great so far. The only downside that bugs me is the built-in Chromecast. There's no firmware update for it. I have been using an Android box. It does the job well. I might get a Google Chromecast for convenient casting

    • Are you saying the built in chromecast does not work because it’s out of date?

      • Yes, only works with YouTube at the moment. Tried casting from other apps didn't work

        • What apps have you tried that don’t cast from?

          • @MuddyClear: Prime Video, Disney+ and Netflix

            • @Scythic: Netflix won't allow casting anywhere anymore (not even to Apple TV), they removed the ability to do so.

I have been able to cast from YouTube, ABC apps and a couple of other video apps, but yeah Prime doesn't work for me either.

              • @baycie: are you sure that's true? im pretty sure i used it like a month ago, netflix was defs working and i cant find any info of them removing support for chromecast

              • @baycie: Not true. I am casting Netflix, Prime Videos and YouTube fine with this TV. The only thing I can't cast is Disney+. Casting to it gives me a black screen. I've got this TV for nearly half a year now. Its good enough for 550$.

  • Hard to resist at this price. Thanks OP.
