      Sounds like it.

I would have thought posting these cards would cost bugger-all! I'm sure there's a method to their madness.

or you could just post bargains instead of news announcements…

        http://www.smartcompany.com.au/retail/20110802-shipping-war-…

with Myer confirming that it will eliminate all fees from today and David Jones reportedly investigating a similar move to be announced later this week.

        ie. it's not a promotion

Bargains listed here are news to many, so maybe you want to rephrase that

I am going to give u a plus here JV.

yay…. free shipping on overpriced items, awesome. so the ozbargain here is????

    • +1

Myer charges $10 shipping from store to house addresses say if there is no stock at one store in nsw but stock in Vic. Myer brands can only be bought at their stores.
However their online store does not reflect in store specials (like one day % off deals) so in some cases it may be better to order on the phone to get items delivered from instore

But at least they're providing competition

150% market up prices get free shiping yayaya!

The super famous markup departmental store, Myer. This is not a bargain at all with the free shipping offer. We're all looking for the item price offer not free shipping on the marked up items. Good luck MYER!

I think you doubters will be surprised how effective dropping shipping costs will be.

For one the WA buyers and NT buyers will love it.

OP, It probably belongs in the forums, rather then here as it's ongoing.

  • yeah agree… not really a "bargain"…

If you can give an example of something worth buying along with the free shipping that may get more positive votes.

  • I do see it as a deal.
but not a freebie as it is posted, just as there's a purchase required.
